I scheduled in some self care this morning after waking up with a headache. Decided I will go in to work a little bit late today so I could just be slow with easing into the day and I feel all better for having made that choice.

I'll go in to work soon and I know it will be a very crazy day because it's been a very crazy week and it's Friday so all the last of the crazy needs to shake out.

Then I'm leaving work and have a rather long session scheduled to hopefully finish a tattoo I've been working on.

Then depending on the time I'll swing by a farewell party for a co-worker whose last day is today.

1) A 3-part challenge lab test with my shot-to-hell veins.

I have healthcare PTSD now and have to do relaxation techniques when I have blood draws.

2) Then, I sm having my new TV delivered from Costco. A week ago I was on my iPad, heard a loud popping like light bulbs popping (which led TV is I guess) the screen on my TV went black and it smelled like it was going to catch on fire.

I ran around unplugging everything

No fire but no TV.

I am happy to get the new one.

3) change sheets, vacuum and dust-not necessarily in that order.

Have a good day, I am going to be late. I have been dragging my feet.

Finish up the workday
Go home and clean, wash clothes, pay a few bills.... Then I'm ready for my "play" weekend.

today I met my agenda! I wanted to get more horse tack posted for sale and I did. I also made arrangements with my teen helper to come over and mulch the garden beds.

and since its late, my agenda tomorrow is to post more horse tack for sale, and then get ready to go out with my BFF. We are going to a wonderful fancy restaurant and then off to see live theater.

I am going to a 60th anniversary party at my aunt and uncle's house. All my cousins will be there with children and grandchildren. Ugg I would rather stay home but mom is pushing me to go.

Work. It was a stellar day yesterday, surpassed Last Years figures by far! Looking forward to seeing the final results of today! I'm bringing lots of little chocolate eggs and carrot cake Hershey Kisses.

Nothing exciting except go to work this afternoon.

Today I MUST:

Get more bananas for making ice cream

and buy scouring pads for the rice pot I accidentally burned...


I'd also LIKE to:

hang the three curtain rods that need putting up

and switch out my spring/summer clothes and store my winter ones. (YAY!!!)

and mop the kitchen floor.

oh dammit!! I hate ohio weather!

I and my teenage sidekick had plans of doing yard work today. It was a great day, weather wise. A little overcast, slight chance of rain, but it made the air cool and the land shady and this is the kind of day I like to work in.

I was able to get one raised bed cleared out and tilled, and he got one front garden bed cleared of weeds and was going to start to mulch it when the skies opened up and down came the torrent of rain.

instead, we went inside and did some housework, and even put up a wall holder for mops and brooms and such

I got some light housekeeping chores crossed off my list, I'm making something to eat for supper, and I managed to go out to my mailbox and retrieve my mail.....and get up and down three flights of stairs, twice. I'm kind of tired now, but feel ready to rest and enjoy the late afternoon sunshine. :stillheart:

Bagged lots of pine straw and pine cones. Started digging out a stump. Tomorrow I will shoot it's roots with 12 gauge rounds. That makes it lots easier. I don't think I will need to burn this one after I shoot it. Progress is slow but I can notice it. I am dying to start cutting down pine trees!

well, my agenda for today (doing yard work with teenager) that was cancelled because of the rain, was finished by my teenage sidekick after I left for dinner and the play! He got so much of it done I was amazed!!!

No plans today, except my mother and I will most likely visit by phone (long distance, remember how it used to cost a fortune to talk long distance? We always used to write long long letters, back in the day ...). And, dive into a good book, read from my new cache of magazines, work on some art, spoil me (basically). Lots of quiet time.

Well this is my holiday to work so I definately will be at work this afternoon for my 3-11 shift. I made breakfast, dishes, helped my honey with her shower, poured meds, dust mopped and wet mopped all the floors in the house, laundry, and now I'm chillaxing on here for a bit.

I'll just stay home in case World War III breaks out.

my SIL's family has us over for holidays. We will be spending it with them, along with my daughter, SIL and grand children. And my ex husband will be there (my daughter's father) and his long time female companion. And my former MIL. Its a great mix and we all get along very well.
