Even though we didn't travel much when I was a little girl, my mama kept one of these next to her Farmer's Almanac.

We used to have foil tops on ours and you had to be quick getting them in from the doorstep when the milkman delivered or the birds would peck through the foil and steal a drink, or the cream off the top if it was full fat gold top.
