A woman and her young daughter, maybe 2 1/2 yrs old came in for lunch today. Mom ordered lunch, and knowing that they were sharing I took an extra plate to the table when I delivered their food. The wee one said, "Is that my plate?" Mom said, "yes". Wee one says "YAYYYYYYYYYYYY"....... Now that's a kid that's gonna be a glass is half full girl.

The Vet lifting the kitty out of the carrier and saying what a pretty little girl, before he even peaked at her lil parts. She got her shots today, and is sleeeeping soundly after a ride in the car, and fighting with the cat carrier both ways.

Vet said kitty is about 11 weeks old, and confirmed Bunny/Mickey/ Ricki Racer is a girl** Tigger now allows Ricki to sleep in her bed, and bathes her regularly. Wonder how many times I'll change her name till it fits the lil bit.

Bard gave me a pendant over 2 years ago on Christmas, and I have worn it 99.9% of the time.

Recently I swapped it out for a Celtic cross my dad bought for me one Christmas (one of three necklaces he's purchased for me.. others being a gold cross with a small diamond that I have been unable to find since I moved, and a silver heart locket - both of which I specifically requested...He's always bought me rings for some reason).. I went searching hi and low for the pendant Bard gave me, and came across hys military ring that hy gave to me (as well as the pendant).

Often I switch some piece of jewelry so I have something from each person.. Instead of putting the pendant back on like I intended, I put hys military ring beside the celtic cross on my chain. This made me smile :) My mother passed down her wedding ring, and I wear that.. so now I have a piece of each of my family everywhere I go <3 My mother's wedding ring and my engagement ring from Bard never gets swapped out - if anything, I just add on rings. Prior to these two rings I wore two silver one - a crescent moon surrounded by knotwork, and a moonstone surrounded by knotwork. When I am feeling particularly 'blessed', I suppose, I will add those on.

Long story short - I am smiling because I carry a piece of everyone I love with me :)

I got an A on my test today! All the studying paid off! One tiny step closer to massage therapy certification :)

I also had some great encouragement , and how could a girl not smile at that ;)

I smile everyday - He makes me smile everyday - I haven't had a bad day in so long I could almost feel guilty...but I don't :)

knowing that she has her new phone but likes to hear me go in the tunnel instead of using the new phone... *chuckles* my baby hates change

This was actually yesterday...

I was driving home through Saskatoon downtown, and stopped at a corner. We're in road works season, and the crosswalk was really bumpy. A woman with a tiny baby in a pram was pushing it gingerly across the bumps, and the baby kicked its feet and raised its fists up going over a little bump as if to say WHEEE! Best laugh I had all day!

Waking up with my dogs snuggled up on me! :-D

Coming home to my girlfriend waiting for me! :-D

What made me smile... (thinking about something that happened yesterday)

A new kid comes into the shelter. Kind of quiet but becomes a little cocky when he plays a game of pool with a male staff and wins. The staff puts the stick in my hand and says "it's your turn." The kid starts the game in the lead but I ended it with the win, leaving him with five balls still on the table.

Major lesson in life kid... Never underestimate the abilities of a female at the table, kid! :cheesy:

Had a new - great - bronze necklace made,
Had a few extra hours off,
Sitting in the back yard - enjoying nature, having a drink and just relaxing
