I don't blame you Punkin. There is no way I am heading up to Concord today unless there is a significant change out there. I have a wonderful boss now whose inclement weather policy is "Common Sense." Now if this workaholic femme over here will just learn and perfect the application of the fine art of said common sense...

Atlanta is essentially shut down as well! Interstates are deserted, it is so quiet and peaceful!

Atlanta is shut down how much snow did you get, we are suppose to get that storm on Tuesday with about 6 inches of snow on the ground, we already have snow from Friday and now more is coming this way I'm so tired of it, its ridiculous already..

We have about 2-3 inches here in East Tennessee but there is ice under it. Shows the interstates have really one lane moving and it is just a path.

This is the worst one so far this year.

Glad it's my day off!!!!!

Sunny and high of 68...brrrrr. Um it's to get up to 76 later in the week. Phew, can turn off the heat then.. :byebye:

Snow on the ground still have the blizzard we had two weeks ago and now snow again tomorrow night it doesn't end I tell ya and I still have to shovel out the driveway before more snow comes in here tomorrow..ugh and its cold to boot too..what a carzy winter.

Smart girl, I'd of hated to have to drive up there and kick yer cute lil ass all the way back to Charlotte or Monroe (where I coulda handcuffed ya to my desk or something to activate said common sense), grins evilly.

WOW just saw on the weather channel some places in GA have 1/2 inch of non snow. Hope the power stays on for you all and if not hope you have a back up plan for staying warm.

Between 4 and 10 inches. But covered between 1/2 inch or more of solid ice. It won't get above freezing until tomorrow but only for a few hours and then it won't get above 32 till Friday. So this ice won't be melting anytime soon. We do have snow plows but not that many because this amount of snow and ice is not normal for this area. They have begun closing the freeways now. Bridges and overpasses are deadly! It is bad! Airport cancelled all flights!

We got 30cm (12 inches) of snow over the weekend. Crazy streets everywhere, with a good showing of ice under the new snow. It is -27C (-16F) here with a snappy wind chill. I did not go anywhere this weekend, but I was able to get out of the alley and to work this morning. I helped push someone when I was out starting my car, and promptly went to my house and changed Traffic was painfully slow, but hey I did not get stuck. :byebye:

Burrrrrrrrrr,to cold for my southern fried a$$,in the morning it's suposed to be 19 with the wind chill in the single didgits,the high may be near 40 so I hear.Sofar my work place is suposed to be open,u bet I will be wearing my camo artic suit to walk across the rather large parking lot wich is out in the middle of no where,at least I will be prepared for the weather.
