Well, Sunday has almost passed. :( But 5 work days before a 3 day weekend.

My pool is officially open. Tho a little chilly, around 65 deg.

Today was fairly relaxing. I went to the barber and got a haircut. Then watched the Blackhawks game, which was disappointing.

Grabbed a quick dinner at Chipotle before heading out to see Avengers: Age of Ultron. Really enjoyed the movie. Tho I found myself (more than) slightly envious of Chris Evans body. Never really had that happen before. But I found myself wishing for his body.

Anyway... Hope everyone enjoyed their Sunday.

Instead of Palm Springs, we wound up getting a new computer and printer...we shop well together, so it's all good!

Sunday Morning....everything is good over here

Good morning! Record rain continues to fall :-(. Red and I have been fortunate to live in an area that had not flooded! Many friends and co-workers have not faired as well. I hope everyone in the effected areas are ok.

Holiday Weekend
 

I woke up, and headed to the pool for an hour until some kids showed up then I was out..

I then decided we needed some sugar so we headed to our favorite cuban secret and partook in some cafe con leche. I may have eaten some croqueta and some papa rellena.

The weather is awesome so one more hour working on the tan, steak for supper and Game of Thrones later as foreplay.

Today was a very good day. Absolutely over-heavy-on-the-easy.

Did some shopping.. then laundry.. then Sunday dinner with the fam.

All in all not a bad way to end the weekend.

Except well ... the Fall weather we are having. :| .. Though I am not complaining.. I prefer the coolness to the hot-as-:fireman:-humidity.

Red is getting ready for her first week of summer work. So me and the pups will be on our own. It's my busy time so it will go by fast.
Gonna binge on a few Orange is the new Black episodes and take it easy.

My early morning was spent sipping hot coffee and going through my email. After Sadie finally got up, I took her out for her walk and a check on her p-mail. Then I got a load of laundry started and worked some more on organizing the garage, while she supervised. It was an easy, peaceful day. :)

It was a good Sunday though I am always a little vexed because it means the weekend is almost over. I finally got my platform bed put together (not without a few curse words and perhaps a pulled muscle or two) :| . However, it is done.

I did up the laundry and got things ready for tomorrow (lunch, snacks, etc.).. then had dinner over at my Mom's .. and spent some time walking the property and trying to stretch my back out.

I am hoping this pm Motrin helps and I get a good night's rest.
