Currently watching Sherlock Holmes(2009), tomorrow I will watch Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows(2011)

The last two movies that I have seen were the Hunger Games and Take This Waltz (w/ Michelle Williams & Sarah Silverman).
We scored advanced tickets to Ruby Sparks this Sunday. We are also planning on catching Spiderman in the next week or two. |
Windfall - documentary about the hazards of industrial wind farms. Very informative. The Green - gay teacher is accused of an inappropriate relationship with a student. Very intense. New Year's Eve - incredible cast including Halle Berry, Ashton Kushner, Sara Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Robert De Niro, Hilary Swank, Jon Bon Jovi, and a bunch more I dont remember. Very sweet and romantic movie. |

About a woman who leaves a cult and the impact it continues to have on her memory or recovery. Well done if somewhat disturbing. The ending sucked (imo). |

ONLY and I took her son to see The Amazing Spiderman and Men In Black 3 at the drive-in. Both were great action flicks. :)

"Red Tails" - it was a great story that needed to be retold!

Snow White and the Huntsman. I liked the film, the visual effects were great as was Charlize Theron in this film.
They advertised Les Miserables before the film and that looks like one to catch later on. |
Madea's Witness Protection.....very funny
watched The Help last night on one of the premium channels...loved this movie when i saw it in the theater,and will probably watch it several more times! next movie on our"to watch" list The Dark Knight Rises...in IMAX!!! |
we went and saw Brave with my Goose this weekend loved it however I think next time we go to a movie Desd may sit between my Goose and I to stop us from throwing popcorn at each other

Classic & current movies in Austin, Tx.
Prometheus - I thought it was excellent, and will definitely watch it again.
Summer classic film fest - double feature: "Meet me in St. Louis" - Judy Garland & "Broadway Melody of 1940" w/Fred Astaire & Eleanor Powell. Great fun to see classic b/w movies in a classic theatre. Austin is a fun place to live. |
Dark Shadows - I was not impressed
Men In Black 3 - was ok Snow White and the Huntsman - pretty good The Amazing Spiderman - liked it better than the first 3 |
I saw Little Miss Sunshine a few days ago and had never seen it before. What a wondermous little movie that was. I loved it very much.

Was great but could do without those germy glasses and the whole 3D experience. Yesterday i downloaded Deliverance (i love the dueling banjos) and Mr. Hollands Opus because Syr hasn't seen it yet. |

Moonrise Kingdom - finally a good movie in the theaters. I can see why they called it a sleeper hit. I commend the soundtrack and the young actors in the movie.
