*Wear flat shoes most days :|

*Initiating a visit with my mother and not regretting it

*Find myself taking a moderate position on a recent political issue (I'm almost always left-of-left).


Give me three values that influence your decision making

*I say "NO" to others when I need to take care of myself; that in and of itself is a gift.

*When I am feeling overwhelmed with the world, my responsibilities or the needs/wants of others I give myself a day to be "lazy"; to read a book in my pajamas, listen to my music, watch a netflix marathon, go to the movies on my own, and/or make nice meals; I indulge myself by doing things that are comforting and relaxing.

*I go to therapy - it helps me to own, process and work through my "stuff" and I think it makes me a better partner, family member and friend.
