Peace and quiet. I'm exhausted after a busy family filled weekend. Tomorrow it is off to Fort Walton Beach.:sunglass:

Too many things to count, but here are a few:
Some goofy couple at the putt putt golf place... Laughing so hard there were actually tears, and someone inhaled soda pop... Gaige ordering pizza with mushrooms, then painstakingly picking them off, just to make sure I got extra mushrooms... A Raven's baseball cap, for my hiking trips... Random fast searches of the internet just to gain new knowlegdge... But above all...Just breathing the same air with my Butch, meeting those warm brown eyes with my blue ones, having long lighthearted and intelligent conversations, being able to touch that handsome face, and being lucky enough to be the woman she cares about and respects...:) |

The amazing motorcycle ride to Gloucester, sunday...riding w/my hair down, feeling the wind caress and tickle my face...f*ck the tangles...worth a million tangles....Delicious soreness in my abs and back after a 4hr. ride....The zen I feel when I hit 100 mph....The freedom, peace and escapism....I am my own...Yesss.

Three weeks ago we had a pair of goose parents at the pond at work...They had a brood of 12. I saw them today and they still have a brood of 5 and MAN have they grown. I was happy to see that a few of them had made it.

Being accepted for the Nursing course i applied for, and offered a seat in the class on Friday... How proud that makes me.. < -------- This girl will be starting college, officially, in September. Scary thought.. i'm 39 years old. But, i'm inspired to do great things. And this marks the beginning of this amazing journey for me.. i will have to work my ass off, literally to have this.. The government is not making it easy for me.. But that's okay. i want it THAT bad. |
A YouTube video posted by HowSoonIsNow. I smiled like crazy. Then I couldn't stop watching them, of course. But I ended up finding this one which made me smile/laugh for the whole 6 minutes. (I also had to groan since all but the first few dance styles made their way into my life at one time or another.)

My little ferret Smokey snuggled up in his pirate ship bed. There was a slight incident between him and the dog yesterday but he is fine. Mama almost didn't make it tho! Lol :-D

Taking a quick dip in the pool with Rooster after school....complete with splashing and silliness....and a test drive of the new floating chair with installed self-filling squirt guns.
It's one of the things I love most about working from home....being able to grab those moments. :) |
Smiling today because I finished packing up at school...one more day of post planning, two days of leadership retreat - then off to the mountains for the weekend...
Next weekend - the beach for a week or so...let the good times roll!!!! |
