I braved a downpour to get to the post office at lunch today. Mine are on the way! I sent them in a priority package, so I hope you'll have it by the end of the week. ($5 included)

CCB - I really enjoyed this project. I would like to do this over and over with different themes! I went a little crazy with Jenn's. My sister was around when I was making them and she kept saying that the burger one was hilarious, which is NOT what I was going for! So, I made some alterations, but I guess we'll see.

I'm sorry my theme has turned out to be difficult. I was torn between Zen and Steampunk. Maybe steampunk would have been easier. See, we need to do another round!

I say we do another round!! I have some new ideas too-- that involve ATC (artist trading cards).

But I wanted to talk with CCB about it first-- with details. :)

No worries on having a challenging theme. I think I finally got myself to good place with yours! :)

Steampunk! I still have pieces from ami's project eons ago where she sent the same things to all of us and some of them would have worked for that. Maybe next time!

Maybe themes can be mashed, randomly. Steampunk Zen or Mermaid Gardens or Hamburger Sugar Skulls for example.

I would be up for another box/shrine round BUT I want bigger boxes dammit. There's so much I tried to do but it literally would not fit right with the minis.

My main issue is finding balance between too simple and too complicated and I find that much harder the smaller the pieces.

Because I have giant chubby fingers and I'm tired of gluing them together.

Ok, now I NEED a Steampunk Zen project! I still have pieces from ami's project, too. I loved that one!

It would be totally evil to package each one up so the wrangler could not see them. It would be awful.

I packaged mine up so the wrangler could not see them, but not because I didn't want the wrangler to see them- it's just that they were so tiny and fragile-y put together that I felt I really had to anchor them in packaging. So Sorry, CCB, I would have actually preferred you see them. I think that's one of the most fun things about wrangling (getting to see all the projects).

Did you take pictures beforehand? If so, you could just send them to her.

I've pretty much done the same thing. One thing I'm really glad about is that CCB's shrine only has one mailing to survive. That one has a couple of really delicate pieces in/on it.

UPDATE: Today I received shrines in the mail from purepisces and nycfem. Also, nycfem I received your separate envelope with the money. Thank you.

So here's where we stand:

nycfem - received and they are packaged adorably
purepisces - received and they are gorgeous!

Mine is scheduled to reach you Monday.

Like nyc, I wrapped those suckers good for the best safekeeping possible BUT I did include some pics I printed out. Sorry my printer's almost out of color, so they are pretty pale but you can see what they looked like before I wrapped them up and if yours is damaged, let me know. I'll figure something else out.

Yay! After reading everyone's posts, I realized I did not wrap them for safe keeping. I hope the heat didn't melt the glue holding everything together!

I took pictures of mine, if anyone wants to see them later. Ccb- I'll send you pictures of the ones I receive once I get them unwrapped.

As much as my voyeur self would love to see every shrine, I totally understand the need for careful packaging. Thanks for taking pic, though. I look forward to that and will keep my eye out for your package Monday.
