GM3 things that you just can't understand

I don’t understand cranberry sauce. People trot it out holidays, usually Thanksgiving sometimes Christmas, but I've never seen more than a quarter of a can actually eaten. I mean why bother. If you're feeding 15 people and you still have 3/4 of a can of something left consistently behind, I doubt anyone is really going to miss it. I don't understand how it got to be such a thanksgiving staple.

I don’t understand doing fucked up things like killing people in exceedingly upsetting ways (or even just killing them in everyday ordinary ways really) or beating your children for god. I don’t profess to know god personally but I doubt he’s impressed by this behavior. And if the god you (not you personally but the generic you) are praying to is I'm concerned he's not really god at all.

I don’t understand why people say they will be with you in a minute. They rarely are. I’ve taken to timing it when someone tells me that. So far out of a 167 people only two have come back in a minute. This kind of thing doesn’t foster trust.

GM3 things that are the exact opposite of the way they should be.

1. The budget for the Pentagon should be given to programs providing free food.

2. Congressional payroll given to programs providing free health care.

3. Money used for the "war on drugs " used for free mental health care /therapy.
