Hi femmy1. Welcome to the thread.

Zimmeh 02-25-2016 06:37 PM

Welcome Femme1! It's kind of quiet right now and I am doing good. It's a quiet night at my apartment. I'm sitting here watching a movie with my pup.

Hello Singles! It's Monday and I'm in the mood for Happy Hour already. Anyone interested in beverages and/or snacks? I think I'll mix myself a vodka-cranberry. I'm pretty sure there are non-alcohol beverages around here somewhere too.

Zimmeh 03-01-2016 05:21 AM

I would have jpined you for a cup of iced green tea! I spent the day running errands with my mom and we bought several pieces of Paris themed items for my apartment. Going to Paris and Provence is on my list of things to do!

Have a great Tuesday!

It's 5:30PM here and I have given up on the idea of going out. I'm just not feeling it. Anyone for board games or billiards?

IF I lived closer I'd SO be up for some billiards! My grandpa owned a pool hall ( which he also ran bootleg liquor out of, but that's a whole other story) and I've been shooting pool since I was knee high to a grasshopper! :snooker:

Zimmeh 03-07-2016 03:39 PM

If you are ever in tge Daytona Beach area, let me lnow! I will take you to the Boardwalk and have a great time! It is the last original landmark in Daytona.

Wednesday I am going ti start the paperwork to become a CNA. I love my job at Starbucks, but I'm tired of the hurdles that you have tp jump through to become promoted and they are scheduling me for about 25 hours a week.

How was your weekend? My weekend was hectic due to Bike Week and people walking out of Starbucks. I took a two hour nap yesterday and then unpacked a couple of boxes.

Zimmeh

Mel C. 03-11-2016 01:53 PM

Happy Friday Singles!

Zimmeh - did you get the CNA paperwork in? Are you taking a short class or can you test out of it? Either way, good for you!

Zimmeh 03-11-2016 02:41 PM

I will be taking a short class and I have a test prep book. Thank you!! I was crying the other day when I told my assistant manager that I would be leaving.

I start on March 28th and it will be five days long.

How are you doing?

That's great. I worked for many years off and on as an NA/CNA and dialysis tech, among other things, before getting my LPN. I was in school working on prereqs for RN but am taking a break/reconsidering. Anyhow if studying you get stuck, there's anything you need help with, like understanding rationales and stuff feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll and I’ll try and assist - be of help/brain storm it with you all I can. Anyhow - hurray for you and good luck with your studies. :reader:

Hi singles!

Yes, that's about all I got. I'm beyond worn out and the week isn't slowing down. I've worked 3 shifts in 2 days, so fun. Actually it is fun. I'm working on a pre-production vehicle, that with any luck, will start to revolutionize the auto industry.

Zimmeh 03-17-2016 10:06 AM

Randrum, that sounds like a fun project! My middle brother has been building race cars since he was 16 years old.

I am off tomorrow, so I will be going to pick up my CNA book :) ❤️

Hope you all have a safe St. Patricks Day!

Zimmeh 03-18-2016 02:55 PM

My favorite kind of coffee from our Reserve stick is the Cameroon Mt. Oku. Here is a grande-medium- size for you! Have a safe flight home!

Singles, I think I'm tired of being single. I am sort of longing for a companion lately. Someone to do things with, like this art exhibit opening in a couple weeks or go to a concert. But also to not do things with, just chill at home watching movies or making dinner.

This is kind of a new feeling for me. I've never felt like I needed to be in a relationship and have always been content being single. I just feel restless lately.

Maybe it has something to do with my birthday next week. I'm turning 30 and have never had or experienced that.

FireSignFemme 03-19-2016 06:45 PM

"I think I'm tired of being single..."

When I get to feeling that way I go spend time around my married/partnered friends who fight a lot. It helps immensly.

haha. This may be a good idea. Might be time for a trip to NY to visit my best friend and her husband.

Hey Singles

There has to be something better to do on a Satur-Gay night
Than sitting home watching ID Discovery

Blade 03-19-2016 07:20 PM

Being single isn't so bad, it aint always so good either. I'm ready for a relationship, and I'm sure the right one will come along in time.

Happy Saturday evening singles! Guess I'll watch some March Madness

randrum 03-19-2016 07:49 PM

March Madness is my plan for the evening. Was happy to see Iowa State win. Now hoping Kansas can keep the Big 12 rolling.

Single Guy (ftm)

Hi,
I'm a ftm but prefer being called a man...I'm a mellow , and down to earth man. Been in recovery now for a bit over 19 yrs.. like spending time going to recovery based events , fishing, hunting etc...

My mom lives with me she is 94 now and slowing down, its sad but I will always be there for her....So I try to stay close to home or just go away on weekends as long as my mom is feeling good..I don't leave her alone, I have a sis that was born slow but she can do a lot of stuff....

Anyway that's the short on me,,,,

Hopefully some people here will meet the right person and maybe I will too, you never know. You just have to put yourself out there and have faith...

have a good evening,,,

MysticOceansFL 03-20-2016 02:23 PM

I don't mind being single, but I'm not afraid of commitment either with the right femme.

Hello singles,

I hope that everyone is having a great weekend.
I am busy with family fun now that everyone is back in central Texas. Lots of barbeques and chili cook offs are planed. I think a fishing trip is on the horizon.

After my breakup in early 2015, it was hard for me to motivate myself. After many talks with my family, I found my happiness again. I was in my early 30's when I came out yo my family. It took me awhile to find my ex. I believe that you will find someone eventually and birthdats and holidays are the hardest.

Happy early birthday to you!

I spent the day with my seven year old nephew, watching SpongeBob and eating ice cream. I love watching, "On The Case With Paula Zahn."

I watch almost everything they show on that channel...
I might be what they call an "ID addict"

I wish I had a seven year old in my life,
But my daughter told me to take the thought of
Having grandchildren out of my head lol

Nattih 03-21-2016 04:18 PM

Anyone searching for excitement can have my place and witness the births then help with the first days of the many babies being born in my family.

4 in one year, one more to go :seeingstars:

the last one is due on my birthday in just over a month, but she better not dare. That day is all mine :nyahnyah:

Zimmeh 03-21-2016 07:33 PM

I leave that channel on for my pup when I go to work. He is a handful, he is a very bright and energetic kid. He will ask you a million questions about anything and everything. My mom kind of knew that I would never be able to hsve kids. I was hit by a car when I was 15 years old and it nearly broke my back and my legs. I now suffer from arthritis in my left ankle, but I continue to do what I want.

Have a good night Everyone!
