Many many moons ago when I was just a Spring chicken I worked in retail, the clothes hangers in the store had to be hooked on the rail from the left, over 30 years later all of my hangers in my wardrobe still hook on the rail the same way, old habits die hard !!

I LOVE coffee... I drink it all times of the day.

But can not bring myself to like iced coffee. Which sucks cause that would be great on hot days.

I profoundly enjoy closing my eyes while listening the sound of: the rain...a gently wind...silence...the echoing of a train in the distance... :praying:

I collect all kinds of animal skulls. Plus, I have a deer vertebrae. I even have a tiny baby Muskie skull!

I have a mannequin who wears slutty outfits and has been with me since I was 24.

I also have a five foot long glow-in-the dark rosary from Italy, that the mannequin wears.

I've had three important butch relationships in my lifetime.

Two of them I grew up with. Of those two, one passed away a few years ago (she was my closest friend during our growing up years at school: grade school, junior high and high school).

The other was my closest friend at my family's church (she and her partner live in Kansas). We're still close friend's to this very day.

The third butch lived in Germany, but years ago she took on an new role with her company (Axel Springer Publishing) in Poland, where she met a wonderful woman and they eventually became partners. She's also the butch who gave me the nick name, Kätzchen. We corresponded for years, daily, where we met on the former Dash site. Some of you here might remember her by her screen name there (BlueeyesBerlin).

I miss all three of them, but I'm grateful for their enduring presence in my life. I'm especially grateful for my butch friend in Kansas because she and I know every single thing about my life, as I do hers. In fact, my mother knows both of my close butch friends from both school and church. BUT, she's my longest living butch friend and she's very wise.

I am a workaholic, I work at least 60 hours a week at my job and the rest of the time working my land or cleaning my house.

I have quite a collection of Gin, some of the bottles are little works of art, and yet I only drink about 1 or 2 G&T`s a week, moderation in all things {way to old to get drunk anymore !}

I love camping.

I have a sweet tooth.
 

If I am going somewhere which requires concentration or considerable length of time being seated I take along some candies. I find that they help to not only pass the time but to get through the meeting/event. I just have to remind myself to not chew them as it can be a bit loud lol. :blush:

It absolutely drives me crazy when these sport anchors (mostly who are former players) grab a piece of equipment (football, baseball, glove, etc) and proceed to demonstrate for us how some play should of been handled!

I don't classify it so much as "Mansplaining" but more of an irritant they just can't give up the limelight in their chosen sport and feel the need to expound as such!

I have always wanted to have a spice party. All my friends and family would bring their favorite spices and then we would have a cook off.
I need to make that happen soon.

I have this "thing" about getting any type of spot on my shirts. I literally carry extra shirts in my vehicle for things like- chicken wing eating, etc. If there is something on my shirt my eyes cannot ignore that it is there. :blink:

I'm a note taker and always jotting notes down so I always have a small notebook and pen in my purse for when I come across important information delivered or discovered.

I am terribly sensitive about bullying. I was bullied relentlessly by three members of my family. My son's were bullied by kids and teachers alike, during their school years. It hurts my heart when I see bullying. It scars a person, being bullied.

I do not understand why I should be expected to be adept at sales/marketing (when job hunting), accountancy and other financial skills (dealing with pensions etc), and why I should be offered choice of which administrators to pay (all of whom offer confusing pricing schemes that look to me to be no more than attempts to confuse and dupe people) in order to continue to receive the same stream of electrons from the power grid that I'd receive if I paid some other bunch of admin folk. It makes NO sense!

I'm a science geek - and I want to know why the sales/marketing/accountancy folk aren't expected to be able to solve science problems as well!

My mother and I rarely argue, but yesterday I asserted my boundary regarding an certain person who was elected as president of our country. I will not back down, when it's this type of thing, even with my mother.

I don't know how she did it exactly, because she's way too butch for my taste, but I am obsessed with Rachel Maddow. It started when she held her hands up to make a gesture, and they were so handsome, graceful, and her fingers were the length of paper towel tubes. Not that that matters. Okay, maybe a little.
