Beautiful Sunny Day
Hearing from a good friend in Gatineau, Quebec. The shots my dog is getting for his arthritis are working, and I watched him run through the grassy field like a puppy. He is 17 yrs old. Petting the sheep, and feeling super blessed for finding my new abode. Finding a new treatment regime that I am hoping will help heal my body so I can attend the Reunion! Fibromyalgia sucks!

The Boy got dress shirts. You know the kind they measure your neck and arm length, not just picked by some size. It was nice to see him in a shirt that fits him perfect. Even in the Tall sizes, the sleeves are usually too short for him. He looked really nice. :)

I received a nice email today from an email penpal who is close enough to visit and perhaps become a nice RL friend. I can use more queer "semi local" friends so this makes me happy.[ :hk14:

All the fun pride events I am not at... :) I enjoy pride and the parade is a hoot. A year ago Dani and I were cheering in Portland OR at the parade and getting ready to leave home behind for NH. How life changes in the span of a year is amazing. This makes me smile deeply. I look over my shoulder and I see general sprout drawing, hym napping in hys chair. We just spent the day window shopping, snacking, playing at the park and choosing rings that say forever is together.
Each moment together we are choosing to build family and relationship. Not marry but build on our commitment. Not move in but build our family in our own time. Another year will go by and when I look over my shoulder I'll smile again. |

Getting out of the shower this morning to get ready for a day at the shelter and seeing the most beautiful image before me... my sweet love sleeping so peacefully in my bed. That'll certainly get me through the next eight hours with a smile!! :)

Him bringing me the heating pad, Alieve, my phone and glasses before leaving for work. Making sure I had everything I needed so I didn't have to get out of bed. He is so good to me. The things he does constantly make me smile. I'm a lucky chick! :)
