My four year old grand daughter saying, "Nina, I had the most WONDERFUL dream."
All the big people and kids were inside the house - nobody was outside - just me and I got to ride Hayden's (step brother) bicycle with NO training wheels. I got to ride it in the street 'cause they were no cars.
Isn't that cool Nina?!! and I was still just like I am now, I was still four! *BIG Excited four year old grin*

Learning that my father (now deceased) hitchhiked 380 miles one way from his naval base to visit my mother, who was still in high school.

EVERY. SINGLE. WEEKEND.

I probably should not even admit this (wonder what it says about me:|) but I am watching Project X, laughing myself silly.

It is a 2012 Risky Business but a little bit, well more than a little, R-rated. Nerdy boy, parents going away for the weekend, party planned, then out of control- you get the idea.

(I did worry about the little doggie though).

The smile and "thank You" I received after holding the door open to the fitness club for two pretty women.

a day full of farmer's markets, picnics in the park, afternoon snuggles, and a backyard bbq party...all with a beautiful woman by my side :flowers:

My recliner barely has room for me and two snuggle -muffin mutts!! They're jealous of each other ... one lays next to me with her head on my belly and the other scooches in where he can find space, half on my legs wedged beside me but with his face turned away from his sister ... one big pile of cuddle- mutts.

Our little dog Flea made me smile today too. She is so needy and cute when she's sleepy.

When I had two dogs one would sit next to me on the recliner and growl until the other 12 lb dog would crawl down to lay on top of my legs as her resting place. I still have the dog that is the bully! :dog:

Having a friend show up out of the blue because she knew I was having a rough day. Then she invited me for bar b q, which I love. And then my girl got back into town in time to join us for dinner.

My down day got turned around into all smiles.

There have been many smiles for me already today.
She put the first one there when I finally woke up only 6 hrs ago
She put the last one there since she is the reason I did not get to sleep until 9 hours ago.

My favorite threads though some of them actually made me do an out loud full belly laugh.

Not bad for 6 hours now lets see what will make me smile for the remainder of my day. Seems I am doing a lot of smiling lately and it really feels good.

With the brownies still a little warm...ice cream starting to melt around the edges....smiles!!
