My vote is for the Triptych project (Gemme wrangling), followed by the Post Secret project (nycfemme wrangling).

Okay, folks. It's Wednesday and it looks like there's a clear plan of action. I said I'd put the project details up tonight and I will keep my word so if you know of anyone else who might like to put their.02 in (ahk, pure, gotosea...et cetera), give them a nudge. Posting opinions in the thread, reps or pm's will work.
This is going to be awesome! We've pretty much taken care of the rest of the year in projects (unless a holiday card swap develops.....which would be nice....love those). |

Just a note that if people want to do a Christmas (combined with Hanukah, Kwanza, etc.) card exchange please start a separate thread. But all other holidays we do here (st. Patrics, halloween, thanksgiving, easter, etc.). Or I should say we do them if someone feels like wrangling them. The Christmas card exchange is such a big project that we don't want it to take over the space here, and it also involves some people who really only do the X-mas card exchange. Thanks.

Thank you for the clarity on the Christmas Card Exchange. I agree wholeheartedly a separate thread....guess my excitement precedes me at times.....Imma bad :mohawk: sometimes.....hehe

Here's some examples. What I want is a triptych....however you see it. The theme is up to you. Let your imagination loose! Positive emotional connection please, no sadness or anger allowed. Please do not create pieces larger than 5x7. It can be one single piece with 3 panels or carved panels that are hinged together or a unique design to you. As long as it's one piece and it makes you happy. There is no restriction on materials. Photos are fine as long as they are happy and meet the size parameter. If you go glitter crazy, please warn me/the recipient. Make sure to clearly note which work is yours on each piece. You can write it on the back or put the pieces in a baggie and write it on the baggie. Whatever works as long as we know without a doubt who did what. I like what we've been doing with noting the artist, the date and the project on the pieces. That's a nice touch that I'd like to continue. The deadline to sign up is September 29th @ 8am EST. 1. Gemme 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. There is no restriction on the number of participants. I'm giving us a month to complete and send them, which should be fair even if we get a good sized bunch. The deadline to mail the project is October 28th. Your work MUST be postdated on or before this date. Please include $5 for repacking and postage costs. Grazie!!! We already know what the next project is and who is wrangling it so please get your work in on time so we can roll right into the next project and finish before the end of the year.
