It's hurricane season during the months that the Bashes/Reunions tend to be.

It would really suck to make all those plans and go to all that expense and have a storm ruin it all. And, if we do do it and we're all there and something happens, there's only one road out.

Just an FYI. Key West rarely gets hit by a hurricane. The keys closer to Miami do. There is an international airport there now. It is a big time city. LOL It would be an awesome place to party though!! I could be a tour guide. :D

I know it doesn't happen every year, but I lived in Central FL for more than 20 years and have seen the keys be evacuated several times. Not just hurricanes, but really severe storms too.

I'm just saying it would be a shame and a great loss of what is often someone's ONLY vacation time off for the year and what is every penny they've saved for months and months.

There was a bash several years ago in Nawlins. Before Katrina. I wasn't able to make that one and I've been kind of sad about that. It would be interesting.
