I am gonna be buying some new dresses today. Trying to figure out how to work out a wardrobe during weight loss is annoying

clay 09-24-2016 09:53 AM

A beautiful Saturday Good morning folks!

I treated myself to a totally new & totally different haircut/style today..along with some waxing "clean up" of facial nature...

It is so very butch for me..one I haven't ever had. I was inspired by the weight loss process I am going through & I wanted to be really different from my past styles! Haven't ever had her use blades on me before...all clean (or High n tight) around back, neck, and sides...spikes n top, like a crew cut but longer....anywho...now to find someone to appreciate it...winks...

Wishing everyone an awesome day & weekend. Is gorgeous here. I will be enjoying some pool time today, for sure!

Hugs for everyone..and a huge ole smile...

Today has been a very eventful type of day. We had to take my step-dad's 88 year old grandma to the hospital. Her new doctor gave her the wrong type of medicine. The ER staff was very sweet and helpful to her. She has been diagnosed with low counts of hemoglobin and water retention. When my mom and I left tonight, they were putting her in a room and stated to give her several blood transfusions. I told my mom to report the original doctor.

I had a nice Greek salad for dinner and now I'm in bed. Tomorrow, we all will be at the hospital to see how she is going.

Night Everyone!

It has been a wild few days for me. My stepdad's grandma was checked into the nursing home that I work at. She is doing much better.

This is my weekend off, so I will see about going to the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse to pick up some post cards for the Postcard thread.

Breakfast this morning was Honey Nut Cheerios, 1% milk and Starbucks Caffe Verona coffee with French Vanilla creamer.

Morning singles!

Hope the grandma does well Z!

I am doing my house boi chores this AM & playing online & doing laundry!

Have some errands to run later today!

Will be working on a craft project or two I have going on...been slacking lately! Buckle up Buttercup!!

Wishing all of you an awesome day & weekend ahead..with some fun dates....great weather & clear sailing!

Nattih 09-30-2016 08:47 AM

So, my next project is learning how to sew. Scared to ask my grandma because I'm afraid she will yell about how I should have learned this sooner lol. Need to try YouTube first, then find actual lessons

Evening Everyone,

I spent the day with my mom and family. We went shopping at Best Buy and I bought a new laptop. It is a 11.6" Dell Inspiron laptop and it is a gorgeous blue color.

Leaving us all some snacks and drinks for tonight!

Enjoy,

Zimmeh

Good Morning Everyone...

I am still getting used to having two weekends off a month. I am sitting here watching, Million Dollar Listing: NY on Bravo. One day, I would love to visit NYC. I am considering looking into becoming a nurse once I hit my six month's of employment with the Nursing Home.

I am leaving us some coffee, juice and breakfast goodies.

Good Morning everyone!

I have to go to a baby shower today. I would rather have a root canal.

I don't know why but I feel down today. Perhaps the rain is the culprit, but I don't like it either way.

Just made coffee for everyone, enjoy!

Have a great day.

Zimmeh 10-03-2016 10:30 PM

Have a good night everyone! I am preparing for this hurricane. As of right now, it is just going to brush past my part of Florida.

Gemme 10-04-2016 09:24 AM

Be safe down there!

Zimmeh 10-04-2016 12:34 PM

As of this morning, Hurricane Matthew is on path to include the East Coast of Florida in his path. I bought three cases of water, two candles and a flashlight. When this bad boy hits, it will be a strong Cat 3 hurricane. I am on call until Friday, even though Thursday is my day off.

Thank you Gemme and I will keep you all posted!

Awww...don't be hatin'...lol. I hope my next place has one AND with the privacy I need.
I LOVE my pool time..almost every.single.day! I do half hour of exercises in the water first...then float lazily on the float & daydream, cloud watch.....lol
AND there are palm trees all around the house!

You as well!

Depends on if power is lost and, if so, for how long.

LoyalWolfsBlade 10-04-2016 09:16 PM

Evening singles...

I spent yesterday being very active doing my errands around town. I should say to active. I don't think I will ever get used to the level of activity my body can actually handle now. Actually since it has almost been two years since my spine surgery and the limits on both the weight I lift and the length of time I am allowed to walk I know I will never get used to it. I am so used to pushing through the pain for so many years that I seem to always over do it.

After being on my feet yesterday for over 15 hours and most of that time included carring more than my allowed wieght limit I spent today practicing my self care skills. Three long hot showers with the shower on massage working on my sore back muscles. Some aroma therapy while relaxing in bed. Lots of fresh fruit and protien while reducing my sugar and caffeine intake for the day, to replenish all that I used yesterday. No computer time and reduced television time to decrease the electronic stimulation that can induce migraines I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Finally no tight fitting clothes which gave me permission not to wear my binder and just relax all day in my sweats.
Now if I could only do some self care every day that would include not over doing it and listening to my body I wouldn't have wasted days like today.
On the positive side I did allow myself some comfort food of chocolate covered strawberries and a hot cup of tea. Not to forget that a down day equals getting some much needed book time...audible books don't count as bad electronic stimulation ;)

Rest well everyone....leaving some fresh grapes, strawberries, crackers and assortment of cheese just in case someone wants a late night snack

While self care is important a little indulgence from someone else occasionally would be greatly appreciated :) :moonstars::rrose:

Most stores were running out of water, so they had limit restrictions. If it becomes to bad, my Babygirl pup will be dropped off at her house tomorrow and I will be staying with her.

Have a good night,

In less than 13 hours, we will be in the middle of a hurricane. To all of us being affected by Matthew, please be safe! My thoughts and prayers are to all of my Florida peeps, Georgia and Carolina people! I am off tomorrow and I am on mandatory stand by. This storm is making me nervous!

Clay, I hope you stay safe to! My pup is with my mom and I miss her snuggles at night! I will be working 7a to 9p tomorrow :(

Good night from a hectic and lonely night!

Dear Alix,

I hope you found that woman haunting your dreams in Heaven. Even though your death is a sad time, I hope your family finds some form of peace and happiness. Your death is still a sign to all of us in the LGBQT community, that our fight for equality isn't over.

Forever fighting to find help and a cure for depression,

Zimmeh

It has been a very busy week for me! I cannot wait until I am off this weekend. I worked nearly 58 hours last week and I need a vacation!

I lost my food to the hurricane so I have no treats for us to enjoy :(

Still afloat in NE North Carolina....

Hello, everyone-- just peeking in to say hello again and noticed a lot of folks are still discussing the Hurricane. Several places here in the NE part of Eastern NC flooded and are still flooded severely. Like most from the area, we dig in and keep going.

Some know me; some don't. I don't think I've done an intro yet or at all, so....

I'm a non-op FTM, on HRT off and on as finances and doctors allowed for nearly 15 years now. Thanks to genetics and being practically hairless, I can grow a goatee and mustache to make most 15 year old boys jealous, but that's about it. LOL! Hmmm... what else can I toss in here...?

I'm a big-time music and movie fan. My musical tastes are really eclectic though I love country, 80's and 90's best. I also sing and am a bit of a crooner. As for movies, I am a big fan of romantic comedies, horrors, and I admit it: Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Twilight-- yep, love em, and I've read the books as well. My favourites though are those from the John Hughes / Brat Pack days. "Some Kind of Wonderful" is probably my favourite. What else? I like to cook, hate mustard with an unrealistic passion, think the ocean is terrifying which is why I have to go next summer, never consider fishing a waste of time, believe the ukulele is seriously under-rated as a musical instrument, am addicted to coffee, can handle morning breath if I love someone, am monogamous and faithful, and have a bit of a fetish when it comes to femmes who wear lipstick or lip gloss. #MeltWorthy

I recently shaved my head (light brown when I have hair), shaved my little bit of a beard, wear glasses, have what I am told are "devastating" blue eyes, rarely smile in pictures because I'm self-conscious, will never tan (also thanks to genetics), dress simply, love my flannel, love my Wranglers, love my boots, am 5'5" tall and blocky in build, but wish I were about 30lbs lighter.

Also worth noting,...

I am familiar with the BDSM lifestyle and though I have a wicked playful streak, I don't want that to be a foundation of any relationship I might have. I want a femme with a bit of a frisky streak, not a sub or slave who is also my partner. I favour my dominant side, but I am a switch if she is strong enough to take it from me. I'm in my early to mid 40's, so I hope to eventually find a wife who is emotionally mature, honest (even blunt), kind-hearted, and lives her life authentically.

That's the short version. Imagine how talkative I am once I am comfortable?

Zimmeh 10-11-2016 06:01 AM

This morning it's Honey Nut Cheerios, no milk and coffee for breakfast.

Enjoy!

looks like we have both been away a while. Nice to see you again.
I feel the same way about BDSM as you. I am struggling with having that be the basis of a relationship but for me the issue is trust. Maybe one day. I too am a switch and enjoy my dominant and submissive side.

WingsOnFire 10-11-2016 09:43 PM

I was 20 she was 34... I was her first woman also... Damn it was hot... In the end I caught her in bed with a man... Broke my young heart but man the sex was hot lol

I was in my early 30's and living in Orlando. I came put to my former roommate and his friends. I met someone on an AOL chat room back in 2008. My first partner was my ex in Seattle. I am not out to my coworker's, I was forced to resign from a job for being gay. I did report my manager to our hr office and the ACLU.
