Lying here in the dark, listening to the wind howl outside.

Now since I couldn't get back to sleep, I decided to start working. Two hours down, six more to go!

Sitting in bed, sick as heck. The office bug got me.

Getting up soon to take an epsom salt bath to try and help with the muscle soreness.

at 4:30am I started to make a cheesecake for someone's birthday ... then cleaned the mess I made ...now waiting for the timer to go off so I can try to get another hour's sleep ...

Housecleaning! Seriously I'm finding things I didn't even know I owned.

In the end it turns out she planned it herself to extort money...so I wasn't scared anymore.

...listening to the POURING cold rain that is expected to turn to ice and snow..while I look up to watch two water spots develop on my pretty white ceiling ...thinking we have all night to go yet, wondering how it will look tomorrow since I can't call the Landlord till tomorrow because he's a fireman working night shift ....WELL...at least the water spots are far enough away from my ceiling fan...

think I'll go take a bubble bath...

I am so deeply sorry for your loss.

I am checking out the weather for the weekend and sipping on some wine. Maybe I can manage to get out for a couple of hours this weekend if I don't have to work.

I would love to go to the farmers market/flea market and then head to the ski slopes! I picture leaving as the sun sets, picking up a warm hot chocolate for the drive home.

Contemplating a Netflix flick to put me to sleep.
