My tuna sammich and kettle chips pales in comparison.

Bacon wrapped shrimp for the game

Shrimp/okra gumbo, was the best roux ever!!

cinnamongrrl 01-20-2013 07:53 PM

My latest addiction: cashew, almond and cranberry trail mix, with an orange...and some nori strips (wasabi flavored)

TheMerryFairy 01-20-2013 07:56 PM

Deep fried ravioli stuffed with mozza , served with homemade marinara sauce.

I am saving the salad and pizza for later.

I ate my cheesecake before the main course. I couldn't help myself!

Bèsame* 01-20-2013 08:10 PM

Tried out the new Fry Daddy

Sweet potato..I won't cook it as long next time, but it was good
Potato...ditto
Fish...oh my oh my
Shrimp...the best

I used a beer batter, with Shiner Boch. It was delish on the fish and shrimp only.
Thinking, fried Mac and cheese? Green beans? Too bad there are no more Twinkie, just kidding..lol
And for dessert, the grocery store was handing out samples of Greek honey yogurt. Can I just say YUM! So I marched, that's right, marched over to get blackberries and bananas to dip in it.

I love this thread, gives me some great ideas. I've been thinking about Lasagna and might even make some for dinner tonight. Grenade's lasagna sounded quite yummy!

We had yummy snacks for dinner last night.

We had margaritas made with tequila, triple sec, seltzer, and lime juice.

I made homemade tortilla chips with eggplant hummus, and

For second dinner, we had shrimp with delicious strong cocktail sauce.

I made lean pork and white bean chili for tonight.

PinkieLee 01-21-2013 04:32 PM

grilled chicken breasts
with a creamy chicken rice (yeah, the fancy kind made by Lipton)
and sauteed zuchini
and a glass or two of red moscato
