Starting the new shift in the am knowing we are a step closer to finally finding a place of our own knowing that she is in my corner in all we do finding some1 who enjoys my company just as i enjoy hers knowing that soon our trips will be to OUR home and not separate ones |

taking a drive through the country after sundown, Blade driving past my favorite old house that reminds me of the daffodils that grow there in spring, and being completely thrilled to see the beautiful moon that is a good omen about my son... he loves the moon...

Bittersweet, but a smile none the less, as I realize it's okay to make mistakes sometimes.
How things can be so perfect one minute and horribly wrong the next. Conceding defeat doesn't make me wrong or bad, it makes me free. And free sounds real good right now. |

A better night's sleep now that my dad's suregery is done and he seems to be recovering well. Just being home and at peace. |

Saving a massively huge garter snake from the neighbors cat.......and watching him slither safely under the rocks in the garden....
Realizing again that I am loved..... The way my family rallied when I was sick....it was surprising....my mother brought me ice cream for my sore throat...and peppermint patties cuz the meds dented my appetite and thats all i felt for......:| Getting lots of stuff done Ive been meaning to....cleaning my car inside and out, hanging out more wash, going shopping with my eldest; like I told Teddy...its just so nice to feel GOOD again :) |

...awesome feedback at work. ...watching the dog-thief try to find things to hide in the yard....last time it was my cellphone. :blink: ...desperate attempts at persuasion (but I'm not swayed....except by sad puppy eyes.) ...seeing tons of blood family soon, and knowing they'll be giving Snack a warm welcome. :) ...making fierce faces. :stillheart: |

I start catsitting Babycakes today for 2 weeks :) She's an 18 year old Himalayan cat. Yes...18 yrs old! All I can say is...please god...not on my watch:praying:
