You don’t need a reason to suit up.

Opportunity to live what I profess.

Cancer Horoscope:

Sunday, Dec 19th, 2010 -- You can tell that one cycle is ending, yet you still might want to sustain it longer than is necessary. Letting go of your attachment to a concrete plan or a passing desire isn't a sign of failure, but a chance to allow new energy to enter your life. You cannot change your own mind if you are stressed out by your struggle to maintain an old point of view that is no longer working for you. An attitude adjustment may be all that is needed to enable you to imagine the opportunities ahead

Especially if the bathroom add-on included a hot tub!

Almost as cute as a Naked Mole Rat (who is naked, and therefore sans "ouch factor")!

To each their own.

Naaaa, I wouldn't want to block my view of the lake, or the stars at night. And who needs potted plants or flowers when you live in the wilderness with wildflowers and everything nature? Naaaa, I think I'll enjoy being a minimalist. I like it 'cause it's very simple.

Now, my last apartment in the city had a herb garden and flowers on the deck.
Don't get me wrong, I like your suggestion.... I also think I would order it in a different color? But I personally don't like curtains or blinds that block the sunshine and my view of the nature and lake.... in the city I use curtains at night. Besides, who needs curtains in a secluded lake side house when you go skinny dippin in the lake and then are fully clothed IN the house by the fireplace? :shark:

One of these days, I've promised myself to accomplish my "minimalist" plans. A simple place to live is my :ohm:
I think I'm done with city living and curtains that block out the sun.
I'll order flowers during the winter for my dinner table, to enjoy the splash of color.

Based on experience...
It's not so much the blocking out of Sun, or hiding from the stars...
At least, for me, it would be against any Random Hiking Peeping Tom, or Pervie Hermit I have no clue about....
That and one never knows if there's some cat burgler on the Prowl based on word-of-mouth.

Personally, I would thatch the Deck roof with palm leaves, add a hammock, swing under the stars....
The added plants would attract various species of Birds{and bugs}...just...find hardy plants that don't overwhelm the simplicity of such an awesome refuge?

Oooh...private Hot Tub ....watching the sunset ...yum

Should see when I have the Dubious honor of "breaking in" a ferret to his/her harness-leash....
All of 'em.....All of 'em have this "Oooh whats that?...Wait..Tight, Me No Like!!" glance and small squirm...Once manage to secure it...
I swear, in their itty bitty head a little trigger goes off...
They'll drag, Hiss, pull in the opposite direction, if none of that works...They'll act like youre torturing them, and Spazz, they'll rival Cirque du Soleils most flexible acrobat....
And when they realize I aint buying it...and they all do this...
They'll Sulk, Glare, and Huff...
Once they "give up", I give a Treat, and show them why I have it on them..{They tend to be wide eye'd outdoors...}
The same procedure happens the first 5 times...
And each time, when I take it off, they storm off, and give me a "death to u" glance from inside their tent when i pass by...
