I had a major pizza craving tonight, but forgot it was the super bowl so it was like 90 minutes for delivery. So tomorrow we're probably gonna do a cheese costco pie, that I can add ALL the veggies too when we get home. Tomaters, zuchini slices, broccoli and artichoke hearts, shroomage, maybe a few asparagus bits...

Rockinonahigh 02-04-2013 02:50 AM

Stuffed portabello mushrooms,a spring salad, home made dinner rolls with fresh fruit for dessert.

Something sounds suspisous here....salad plate =I had my salad served on a salad "plate". Bowl would indicate ice cream . Me thinks you have ice cream in that bowl. Be nice to me...it's almost my birthday. lol

Nope! I eat my salad in a bowl. A mixing bowl. Ice cream is in a cereal bowl. It's easier to get it all covered the way I want it in dressing that way. You should try it.

I did the same thing with fried zucchini! We're from Michigan and my mom used to make fried green tomatoes and fried zucchini slices when I was a kid. So when we were at a friend's house last summer, she was all "here, try my fried zucchini" and I didn't want to be rude so I did try it and it was teh Nom.

I still don't like fried green tomatoes, but I love zucchini that way.

maryam 02-06-2013 03:13 PM

So the heating element in the bottom of my oven died. I can broil but not bake. The maintenance dude came out and ordered the new element for the bottom so we should be back in cookies by the end of the week. So I says to my SU, "Spousal Unit, what sounds good for dinner?" because we need to get something out from the freezer. Everything thing that sounds goods today requires an oven! And I know it's just because it's not working... If we had oven-ness, salad or stir fry would sound good... ;)

The human brain is an amazingly annoying thing sometimes...

luv2luvgirls 02-06-2013 04:10 PM

I'm making my chicken for gaea with a salad, maybe some broccoli and I am undecided on jasmine rice,or homemade chips maybe I will put it to a vote :tease:
