here is where the canuck comes in and confuses everyone with her celsius temperature and cm instead of inches, etc lol.. today is really sunshiney out, but... chilly willy.. it's -11 celsius here but with the windchill, -20 celsius, brrrr... looking ahead into the forecast, we're expecting some snow, 10 cm on tuesday and 15 cm on friday.. i'm hoping they're wrong tho, i'm sick of snow! c'mooooooooon spring! |
Today is snowing and really windy. I don't know the temp. but, it feels cold. There will be a break in the snow later and then the lake effect will nail us. Looks like a day attached to the snow blower.

More Alberta Blues
We have had officially over 60 cm of snow in the last 14 days, that translates to roughly 24 inches.
We have also not gone above -20C, which is -4F, we have averaged with windchill -35C which is -31F. So right freaking balmy. it is supposed to warm up to like -17 today and hey maybe even stop snowing. The streets have been fun. My little focus has me "slip sliding away..."... Today has been beautiful! It started gray and cloudy and drizzily dreary but the sun fought back and it's dinner time and still bright and lovely. It's somewhere in the 60s, I'd imagine.

32 degrees, which feels like a tropical heat wave to me. I'm not sure what our weather is supposed to be, since the local news has been predicting snow for every day this week and so far all we've had is a little rain yesterday. Not sure if that's a good sign or bad.

Like Medusa, I'm wondering how in the heck I'm going to get to work (if I am). Better yet, how am I going to get home?
