Love about Autumn
walking through the leaves at the park and watching the fur babies and winged ones going for their winter storage food every time you drop some.

The smell of the crisp air. Wearing My hoodies. Watching the trees that start shedding their leaves. Fall and Holiday bazaars.

Living in New England and knowing it is our last hurrah before the dreaded white comes, it is embraced like a long lost friend and held tightly. Inhaling, feeling, seeing and taking everything in to last one through the coming frigid season.

Love about Autumn
Cool days and nights make for a wonderful walk in the park and great sleeping at night.

The wicked, dreaded people on the list start putting on their best behavior, acting a little better knowing the gift giving season and soon time for them to be lazy is rolling around. Is it genuine, sincere, long lasting, does it help get the dishes done? Nope but it is a bit a reprieve and that I can appreciate.

Fall is my favorite season! It seems to get shorter and shorter every year, though.
I love the smells and the cooler temps the best. I work outside a lot of the time and being able to do manual labor without breaking a sweat is fantastic. There are many folks near me that have fireplaces and when they light them up at night, I love the smell of charred wood in the air as well as pumpkin and spiced apple candles burning. I used to love the crunch of leaves under my feet but now that I have to clean those slivers of leaf up on a regular basis, not so much. I have the exact same feeling towards snow, but that's an entirely different season. |
I love the cooler weather, I love the changing leaves, I love that it’s football season again. I love that I want to make things like soup and hot chocolate and snuggle under a blanket.
