Hey Floridians!! Enjoying the weather? and the beach already ?! ahhhh yeahhh!

Hey we're looking for a get together in St Augustine within the next few months, for a day or weekend!? Some may join us from the Carolinas and GA and hopefully other areas. It's in the works. Hope most if not all of you from FL can join us! May be 4-5 months out (Aug-Sept) but we can think about it and plan now! We'll keep you updated with the details.

I, for one would like to get back there at the end of June again when my daughter is back again in FL or to some beach. If anyone is down, will be cool to meet up! Anyway, we're not that far away anywhere in FL if anyone is up for a meetup. Zimmeh and I work quite a lot so we'll just need to know in advance to request some time off. Our house is also open if anyone is in the area and would like to visit Orlando.

I am a new transplant (Odessa)....I am going to miss all the summer activities much to my dismay....work takes me to Cashiers,NC from May to early January 2014....then I will be back and would love to meet up with you peeps. Look forward in making some new friends.....and anyone loving to fish...wooohoooo.

We are gaining a lot of Planeteers from Orlando! We have been known to visit Orlando and hang out from time to time ;)

I've made it here, and am living somewhere outside of Leesburg, about 45 miles from Orlando. Where exactly, everything is, I ain't sure, yet, but I am definitely living out in the country, here.

Summer crapfest weather check in... how is everyone doing tonight weather and floodingwise? Key West is steady rain and flooded streets... but then again, when someone pees in a gutter it floods here.:blink:

It's still raining in Tally and the news said it's moving between Tally and Perry Fla. so I'll be buckling down.

It has been rough, so far, as I haven't found a job yet. Still, I am with my mom, and helping her, so that helps a lot.

We'll be visiting Orlando next week. Any recommendations on a b-f friendly place to go dancing?

ahhh wish I would have seen your post sooner pink. are you here in Orlando now? I have never been to a club yet after moving here almost 2 years ago. Imagine that. I have been talking to others though to try and get something together so we can go see a drag show. In my research I found Revolution Nightclub and Parliament House. Hope you enjoyed/are enjoying your visit in Orlando!

I'm afraid that I won't be able to go, unless I suddenly win the lotto. It seems that my car registration expired without my noticing it. Therefore, all of a sudden, I have to dig up the funds to get my car registered in Florida; which tends to be a 'bit' expensive to accomplish. :( This is difficult to do, when working a minimum wage job, at a temp labor company. I will achieve it, but it is taking time and all my funds to be able to do so, I'm afraid.

I'M SORRY Nadeest. Once you get your car registered the yearly funds are cheaper than what I've been used to in a different state. I know someone in your area but I haven't heard if they're coming. If I hear from them I'll def see if you can catch a ride if you still want to come.

Eh, it happens, ruffryder. I will manage. I don't know, yet, if I will be working this weekend or not.
