A friend and I were discussing something personal and I was cutting myself down about my looks (nothing new)... but I also stated that I'm confident and content. Their response made my heart swell and gave me a rush of joy... "Confidence and Character go a lot farther than looks and last a lot longer and you don't have to put them on in the morning, you wake up and they are there." I'm not glamorous, a "fashion doll", or "drop dead gorgeous"...etc etc... like my sister is... but this friend knows and appreciates my worth and confidence. And I in turn appreciate just how they have impacted my life and helped me heal from grief. Infatuation lasts only a minute...friendship lasts forever. I read the following at my dad's funeral... It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone. |

I got the keys to my house today. She is finally mine. Paid in full, too.
and, I am also getting the greenhouse next door. I talked with the Dir of Dev of my city and since that house is targeted to be demolished, I asked him if I could take plants and garden structures out of there. He told me to take whatever I wanted...so when I was there, I walked in the backyard and discovered the greenhouse! I confirmed I could have even that...wow...WOW. Talk about joy....:dance1: |

The end of a very long week. Looking forward to taking My niece kitty shopping tomorrow. Also, purchasing a new pillow top mattress...so I can sleep on a cloud again. Perhaps getting some fishing in. Lastly, and certainly not least catching up with friends and family.

In addition to the usual bagels on Saturdays, the work peeps made a couple different breakfast bakes, and there are some mini donuts and cinnamon rolls along with juice selections. :clap: I love me some breakfast. :cheer:

Rearranging the whole house. We all traded bedrooms. The big kid went upstairs, the babies took his old room and I took their old room. Now everything feels so fun and fresh and we didn't even spend any money to do it! :)
