- i've really made some darling (and lifelong) friends in 3 girls here in Oregon at the resort.. Tonight We're all getting together, and i have some gifts for them. - Today, one of them stopped by with the most touching gift and letter for me.. i have been shedding tears all day, but mostly of happiness.. And sadness for having to leave of course but.. knowing i am coming back & moving here too, is all things to look forward and smile about.. - Daddy's love, His hugs, kisses and the way He protects me and makes me feel like the most beautiful girl in the world, each and every day.. - Cleaning up the yard after Our campfire from last night, this morning and lifting my head and being surrounded by 4 beautiful and curious deer, and them letting me grab my camera and photoshoot them, within feet of me... - July's love, she has stayed close to me all day with sad eyes, she senses something is up every time i leave.. she has my heart too. - The new me that i am going back to Saint John with, because of Daddy and each of these dear people who have touched my heart.. Having dear girl friends and sisters in them, (along with my mothering touch, of course)... i can't wait to come back home.. <3 |

the biggest and bestest news which has me smiling and smiling?
Mtn & i are getting married !!! We've asked the people who will be standing up for Us, and We've told the people in Our lives and now want to share with everyone..Yes, He wants to marry this girl and i am so, SO happy. We'll have a beautiful spring ceremony, and it will be legally and i will be taking His name... i am so proud to do so.....*smiles really BIG* How much happiness can this heart of mine stand, it gets better and better! So much planning for this next year - it's exciting!! And the fact He so proudly blurted it out to everyone, i felt so loved and so wanted and *sigh* have i mentioned i'm so happy? and smiling? =) Once We're married, and i'm finished school, 2 very dear friends there in Oregon will fly by and pick my daughter and i up, and then we will take a very long & fun roadtrip, making MANY stops, camping, picture taking and seeing the sights across country.. And we'll be on Our way to Our final destination, delivering me home to Daddy to stay! i'll be moving with Him and all of Our reality is coming together so perfectly.. smiles upon smiles upon smiles, yes i am! |

Wow, where to begin.. -- HE did, of course..Our plans, Our smiles, Our love.. His being present, always. His love, His discipline, and His very protective ways.. -- my first day of school - college girl - that feels SO good to say.. Feeling very together after today, knowing what's expected of me, and putting myself out there.. kicking my shyness to the curb and taking initiative of the tasks given to us and being one of the first to present.. Feeling that confidence, and making some new friends, having lots of laughs and some really great instructors.. This will be a great term! -- standing up for myself, and knowing i'm worth that, moving forward and inner peace with a situation that has gone on far too long. -- wedding plans, moving plans.. Appreciative of Him, good friends, the children, the furbabies, the people i encounter who support this positive path in life.. -- Oh, and a damn good book i am reading and a project i am taking on because of it... the Happiness Project.. |

Introducing the little one to Healthy Choice's Frozen Greek Yogurt. Omnom! She is not big on greek yogurt anymore but thinks the frozen stuff rocks. At 100 calories, and decent on carbs, I think it rocks too :D

Coming home after work....and a long day in general....to find that my sainted mother had come over to let the dogs out...and while she was here....she tidied up AND took my laundry home with her! Bless her heart....(The valve thingy for the washer leaks and we haven't been able to even use our new washer/dryer) I was going to have to spend the morning at the laundromat and now I dont have to... Moms are still moms...no matter how old you are....,<3 <3

Finished my history module, thought I could work ahead? Nope, it does not open until 9/10. So be it! Now working on Lifetime Wellness to finish exercise journal... Then have to read three essays and post about each one, and start on an essay. Hmm.

finally done with another major project at work
work was good today a very nice, very needed "cold" front movin into the area today. very nice breeze , cooler temps, clouds all day long. hummingbirds...finally they're here. one of them fly under the back covered porch as if to say " hey, fill up the feeder for us, will ya" so, i did. they have been playin, chasin each other since i got home and yet stoppin at the feeder. hopefully i will get some much needed sleep tonight, i am beyond fuckin exhausted |
Being emotionally unattached to a situation at work that would normally be driving me friggin CRAZY! Muahahahahahah!! :)

My 3 year old great niece, Kelsi Jo, also known as "squishy nose" spent several hours with me today, along with various other family members, we were all visiting my Dad. Anyway, she started "faking sneezes" and giggling... with a giggle that made her entire body wiggle and I had to giggle too, because instead of saying "ah-choo!" She was tilting her head back and throwing it forward and yelling "Pi ka cu!"
She was also calling me Aunt Missy squishy nose lol. Made my day! |

new roommates C and N have gone grocery shopping. C2 is still asleep. V is awake and wandering around in the kitchen like there's nothing to eat. in a sad little voice he says 'do you know how to make breakfast?' thinking to myself that every human being over the age of 15 (being generous here) knows how to make breakfast i say 'yes. and so do you.' i hand him the milk and the cereal and a bowl and a spoon. he looks at me sort of blankly and says 'cereal for breakfast? i normally eat it as a late night snack.' after assuring him that cereal is a multi purpose, non-meal discriminating sort of food we have a conversation about his cooking skills at which time i learn that the other roommates have forbidden him to cook without very strict supervision. they usually end up cooking for him because he once set the kitchen on fire while microwaving mac and cheese. he thought the 30 minute button was a 3 minute button. they had to buy a new microwave after that. i've promised to teach him how to cook sooner rather than later because every 30 year old should know how to feed themselves without a take out menu or endangering the lives of others with a box of Annies.

A precious little boy at breakfast. He was just toddling, tiny little thing. Sitting at the table in a booster seat his chin was level with the table. He got down and was toddling toward me then decided I looked like a scary monster and stopped. He grinned at me and tip toed back to his Mom. But he was cute with is little blue outfit and cap on. His little bib said "Call me Champ" so that is what I called him.
