Just sitting here making soup and watching the news at noon, there is no way that I can shovel I tried my best but can't so my neighbors are helping, one man is plowing the walkway so I won't get a ticket and then I will do the driveway myself on Tues or Wed or just let it melt away, the snow blows back onto the shoveled walk and subways are suspended also!!

I can finally have breakfast now that the driveway and sidewalks have been shoveled. I'll let the sun do the rest. :)

After a shot of cortisone last Thursday my shoulder's loosening up. Physical therapy starts tomorrow. I have a frozen shoulder and a torn rotator cuff. They don't want to do surgery.

Mister Bent gets a snow day! Back in my day we used to have to walk to school in it for miles. Lightweights nowadays get a frickin snow day for a few flurries!

Yes, I shoveled. Mare and I have an agreement - She takes care of the summer work (which She doesn't mind doing), and I am the snow bunny (which I actually enjoy minus the backaches) of the house. :) She doesn't have to touch a snowflake if She doesn't want to.

Really and you like that?? shoveling that is I find it hard to do especially in this cold and freezing weather...I would much rather take care of the summer stuff then the cold stuff but at least you have someone there to help if need be, its not the case here at my house..

I don't mind it at all. I love the snow, She hates it. She's sort of like the Heat Meiser and I'm kind of like Jack Frost. It's a good balance that works :) When I was younger and in Jersey City, I used to shovel half the block - just because. :) I don't mind the cold so much - but I do find it a little less tolerable now that I'm older. It seeps into the bones and it's hard to get that chill out. bbrrrr

I love My sister but the kid has an attitude to match her new teenager-ness!

She has started slightly raising her voice and will stand with her hands on her hips and give you a what for if she doesn't like what your trying to ask her to do or if she just doesn't wanna listen ....... I know she is now a teenager and being autistic she doesn't always understand things (though she's a HELL of alot smarter than many give her credit for) she's getting to the point where she just doesn't wanna listen :|
