almost posted this in the what did I buy today thread. bahahahaha! I'm still waking up sheeeesh.
It is still early but I just called into work to get my scheduled changed.. and they did and I should be happy, but I kinda feel like shit cause my boss made it seem like such a hassle although my coworkers I'm switching with had no issue with it whatsoever. ughhh. :| <<< half smile.. ok smile :) It means I get to watch my Broncos Sunday.. so now they better win then I'll be smiling again! haha.. and I'll get to spend more nights with my babe. :) |

After being out of town, then working crazy hours. I finally got to spend a few minutes with The Boy. Had a nice lunch with him and we were able to catch up about his work. Then watched the two episodes of New Girl on the DVR before he had to go to work. It makes me smile that we are friends.

Seeing compassion at its best...
The bus I was on was heading back toward downtown and well in between a couple of actual stops. A woman flagged the bus down and the driver stopped. She reached out her transfer ticket and he shook his head no and closed the door. It appeared the woman had been already having a bad day and did nothing to argue her case. She simply turned away and continued walking. All the passengers instantly got quiet. Not even a whisper. The driver, who had still not moved the bus was now sitting in traffic because the light had gone from green to red during the interaction with the woman. Before anyone could say a word or offer to pay for the woman to get a ride, which I was on my way to doing, the driver tapped his horn twice and she turned back to look at him. He motioned for her to come back and get on the bus. She got on every so quietly and sat down but was sniffling from crying. A man handed her a tissue, a woman patted her on the shoulder and the driver said that her ride was covered. The bus started rolling again and smiles and conversation started back up... but for that brief moment in time when the bus patrons all got quiet it truly felt like the world had stopped spinning and time had frozen. It was amazing how life came back to the bus when that woman was welcomed to join us afterall... :) |

... a lovely phone conversation before work ... ... and again at lunchtime, during a very rough day at work ... ... an incredibly sweet rep that felt like a hug ... ... her little baby face lighting up when I walked into the room ... ... getting a fur baby butt wiggle of complete excitement when walking in the door ... ... needed "real time" with my beautiful daughter followed by "I love you Momma"... ... beautiful memories that keep playing through my head ... It's always good to remember those little things of the day ... I am blessed ... This I know!!!!! |

I talked to my ex girlfriend today ,and she was happy knowing she will be going for her canimene infusion at the beinning for Nov..This treatment is suppose to help her with the horrible pain she has been dealing with for alomst 5 yrs..for her RSD..
She is also happy he got a new use car,that works well and drive smoothly..All I want for her is happiness.love and a pain free life.. She made me smile.. |
its my Friday....and I have the next couple days off with my honey....I'm planning on abducting him tomorrow if we dont have any appointments....I want to share a very special place (or two..or three) with him....

An organization in my state that rescues and helps get adopted out, dachshunds, and coon hounds! Of course, I am sooo partial to the dachshunds. There is a lil red mini, who is sooo adorable. Can I just say she sure is tugging MY heartstrings. Currently she is being vetted for a nasty URI...she just lays on her lil pink pillow..Destiny is her name....sweet lil baby!!!

I have spent the day smiling and laughing although I am worried thanks to friends...
One on FB that I am helping her to forget it is her Birthday Leigh for keeping me company during the first part of my day when I had to deal with doctors and other idiots... The private reps left for me here that were more then welcome The look on the nurses face when she saw I was wearing a sports bra...actually asked me what it was and if and how I was going to take it off...no idiot I am going to wear it for 48 hours straight (thought it but did not say it but I did smile) Me too every time I think oh yeah I am suppose to push the button when i feel that...well why is the damn button so hard to find..lol :byebye::byebye: |
my dog and how much he enjoyed strutting his stuff at the park in our new town.
he remembered all his 'manners' and was such a good little boy. I love watching him strut and have a geat time. we both needed a nice break |
Arriving at an apartment full of friends, one of my friends son was sleeping on the sofa. He heard my voice and woke up out of a dead sleep to hug me and tell me that he missed me. That made my heart smile :)
