Just thinking about how great my life is at this moment.
I have a great deal to be quite fortunate about.

Driving on the freeway and admiring the variety of colors in the leaves in Michigan....and getting laughed at for acting like a kid with all the "ooohhhhh's" and "ahhhhhh's".

A staff person offered me an umbrella as I rushed into the rain.

What made me smile today? Two amazing friends, the first by just being there on the phone and listening to how bad treatment went and genuinely caring and listening to me.
The second well she is an ex before the ex that left to Australia and well she showed up out of nowhere to just sit with me and be there for me we spent some amazing quality time together and she's coming back a bit later.
The point of my post is I am grateful for people caring!

My car is fixed. Its been a while. It got fixed thanks to help, I could not afford it on my own and was given a loan by a family member because- I was told -I could be trusted to pay it back.

It wasnt allways that way, between me, and the loaner. Sometimes when bridges are burned, with time and consistency they can be rebuilt and that is nice.

After being criticized for not making friends with my colleagues outside of work and being told to relocate or :pirate-steer: I have several colleagues sending me loves and checking in on me.

Making up with my little Babygirl since she was upset with me becuase I had to work until 5am.

Looking forward to our walk in the park tomorrow with our Babygirl before my orthodontist appointment.

How lovely the fall colors look...even on this dreary day....

So I'm at the grocery store buying a bag of Purina Dog Chow for my dog. While in the check out line, the woman behind me asked if I had a dog. Why else would I be buying dog chow, right? So on impulse I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, I was starting the Purina Diet again, and that I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in intensive care with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a Perfect Diet and all you do is load your pockets with Purina Nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry. The food is nutritionally complete so it works well and I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in line was now enthralled with my story.) Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food poisoned me. I told her no, I stepped off a curb to sniff a poodle's ass and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack he was laughing so hard. Better watch what you ask me and be prepared for my answer. Now that you've read this I have to confess, I copied it from someone else. Share and make someone else smile today. :)

I couldn't decide if it made me smile or crack up so I decided smiling is nicer.

I was driving home and noticed a car turn in front of me and it had writing on the window. You know, that white chalky looking stuff that people use.

Well, instead of it saying, "Just married" it said....."Just divorced." LMAO!!

I love that. That person was not moping and sad. They made it funny. Go them

Today I had a conversation with someone I love very much. It was hard but necessary. After I hung up, I felt awash in gratitude for such grace to be present in my life.

This made me smile.
