Kids grow up and leave so quickly. If I'd known that mine would do that, I would have spent way more time just enjoying them.

I miss my kids.

I ate white rice last night, could be why it was high.

I hate needles.

Andrew, Jr. 02-21-2010 02:10 PM

I hate needles too. I despise needles. And I am fuckin' tired of the finger sticks. I am really tired of those sticks. I am so hoping the glucose watch comes out asap. I will be the first one in line for that. :wateringgarden:

190 is not a good number. Just keep at it bro. I am between 68 to 97 most days. Stick with the brown rice, not white.

BornBronson 02-21-2010 02:15 PM

Amen Andrew,amen.

Ok,brown rice next time.

Coming to terms with things in my life and facing my personal demons. Recognizing and admitting that I am a food addict, an emotional eater and the need to remind myself of this daily and not just occasionally.

Bringing my self sabotage to an end and overcoming the fear of success and of being thin. My fat has been my armour - protecting me from failure, from the expectations of others and my demons.

I will win!

I WILL win!

I WILL WIN!

How tired I am of reading some of the same ole stuff over and over. Sometimes I wonder if people talk/type so much, or live inside their own head so much that they aren't really listening/reading and taking it all in. I don't otherwise understand why soo much of he same ole stuff keeps being said over and over and over, like a broken friggin record. It certainly reads like people are just tryin to convince each other that their perspective is more "correct" or "worthy" than the other persons.

Thinkin I just need to stop lookin, cause it's really beginning to annoy the chit outta me.

Goin off to get re-centered now. :seeingstars:

There is a person on my Facebook

Recently the person became a *fan* (you know, joined a group)

Titled: Women bringing you Beer and Sandwiches

I said: I hope that fan group is a joke

The person said basically (not exact words): I'm a big fan of when a woman chooses to bring me a sandwich and beer but I am also capable of getting it myself. I thought the fan page was funny.

UGH!

My Mom

Today, my mother is on my mind. Happy Birthday mom, and this is for you! I love you and miss you. You know I never learned to play The Wildwood Flower, but Mike did and wherever you both are now, I know he is playing it for you daily. You did love this version of it, so it is my birthday gift to you!

I am still all kinds of paranoid in my own home. There is a serial rapist on the loose and he struck again on Monday night. 5 victims in 5 months, all within 5 miles of my house. There are descriptions of the car he is driving, pictures of him all over town, and they can't seem to catch him. He is targeting women that live alone....I am hoping if he even looks my direction, that he would think that I could hold my own...or at least my 55# boxer would scare him off. I am adding more motion lights to my house this weekend...gonna light up that yard like a freakin' stadium!!

Damn this guy for making people scared in their own homes!!

Mitmo01 02-24-2010 11:59 AM

I now have Avril Lavigne's "Girlfriend" remix in my head now, thanks to the Crushing thread.

No other thoughts are getting through at this time. If you leave your thought and your name, I will return your thought when I am able. Thank you and have a good day.

WolfyOne 02-24-2010 07:22 PM

I was going through a container with lots of old stuff in it and came across a piece of paper one of my old bosses had given to his employees and it made me remember how much I liked the guy.

This is what it said....

This is the story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Moral of the story, just get it done.

WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!! The KCPD has the serial rapist that has been tormenting women in my neighborhood in a stand off at a house!! I am crossing my fingers and toes that this is really him and that he is locked up for a very long time!! I might actually get some sleep tonight!!

Edited to add: never mind, they are retracting the reports that came out earlier...stupid news stations! He is still on the loose.

my grandmothers and how much i loved them. they were good to me.

Miss Scarlett 02-24-2010 10:29 PM

Hoping that when I get to the office tomorrow morning I am not greeted by the same thing that greeted me this morning.

This morning there was a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE cockroach doing the dead roach float in my boss's dog's water bowl.

I had to get rid of it before my boss got there, she would have freaked.

Before I picked that bowl up I nudged it a few times with my foot checking for signs of life. When I saw no evidence I took the bowl to the bathroom to bury that critter at sea...the whole time trying not to look at it and trying not to run down the hall...all I could think of was that silly roach wasn't really dead but merely playing possum and any second I would feel it crawling up my arm...so help me I would have dropped dead in the hall and my poor boss would have found me AND that darn roach.

Why is it that there is never a butch handy at desperate times such as this????
