city vs rural
fashion
romance
humour
art
joy
plants
sports


something like these. There is such a wide spectrum of possibilities and interpretations in these broad categories that it wouldnt be hard to find postcards to fit!

I would love to suggest movies or actresses/actors, but I know from first hand experience those cards are very hard to find nowadays...:bigcry:

I'd vote for women/females, sports, or of course romance:awww:............

Yeah, there are no postcards round here. Even the touristyones are pretty boring. So, i went to Ebay to order some.

I think a theme would be cool. My first thought was- pretty much the same as others- what if we can not find them locally? But, Gemme had a great idea with making them- which I think is even more cool. I am in regardless. :)

Check your local thrift shops. That is where I found quite a few!

I would love to join this list again, if possible! I would love to have a theme for the postcards. It will give me a reason to visit Michael's craft stores :)

is there someone who coordinates this thread? Who designates when another round goes thru? I dont want to step on anyone's toes...but I would like to suggest to them to try out the theme postcard round since there seems to be interest. Who sent me the addresses? Are you the person?



if there isnt a "someone" can we agree to do this? It would be up to the individual to join in.

if we did this, can we holler out what theme we would want to try?

You would have to get NavyButches info and anyone else's new that signs up, add them to the other participants and forward the list to everyone! Are you up for that?

I never thought of thrift shops- and someone else suggested buying them on Ebay which I had not thought of as well. Both great ideas. Finding a theme might be easier than I thought.

Just a tip...I was on Amazon last night and found alot of postcards and postcard books (books that house 30 postcards that can be mailed) with women as a subject.

ebay has quite a few choices too!

thrift stores, craft stores, truck stops, museums, tourist attractions, colleges, book stores...
