Happy Sunday!
My day started too early with a 5am phone call but I was able to get back to sleep a little after that. Have been scooting around collecting goodies for a bachelorette party and wedding this coming weekend. So much fun! Now home doing laundry and some cooking for the week ahead. Cheers! |

My day started easy enough. I did have to get ready for work early but at least the time change leaned in my favor.

Finished cutting up maple tree we cut down,limbs,leaves are all stacked or put in cans.
Tired but so glad that chore is done.Now i,m in recliner watching football,payed a couple bills and drinking my iced mocha! |

Happy Sunday morning, everyone! After breakfast, I'll be getting ready and then picking up a friend to drive to the Mall of Georgia. It's a little over an hour from here, but it's worth it because they have IMAX 3D! We're going to see Dr. Strange. Then I will have to make a visit to the Godiva chocolate store, and _hopefully_ I can make it out of there without spending any more money. I am contemplating a visit to "Jerky World" as well. It's what it sounds like; they sell jerky. It's a satellite store at the Mall. Gemme has possibly sold me on the idea of bacon jerky for breakfast, and I want to see if they have some. I'm betting they have several different kinds. Our leaves are changing beautifully, so it should be a fairly nice drive. We'll probably eat somewhere before coming home, so maybe we can find someplace with a nice patio. To make my day as overeasy as possible, I am staying away from the news. GM everyone. Thanks for those scrumptious pancakes, Moe. You rock my friend! I am having my first ever cup of coffee since my bariatric surgery! I had to go with a little over half a cup as I can't hold a whole one. My pouch is only 8 oz max! Damn it tasted so good! The one pancake Moe made will be sufficient!! Thanks Moe. Is another gorgeous day here with sunny, blue skies. The moon is really looking amazing. It will be a full moon, called a beaver moon, tomorrow night. First one in 70 years. I will enjoy the day around here, getting things ready for my holiday week...:) I love this weather. Have an awesome week ahead everyone....much love to all....leaves warm smiles |

Today is a good day. I woke up to a chilly fall morning, had a cup of coffee and played with the dogs for awhille. Red is has been gone to a conference all weekend so I have been busy getting things done. I am beginning to believe that is why she really goes to these things..lol. I am a cleaning machine when she is gone. Looking forward to a great week ahead. We are close to Thanksgiving and I love that holiday more than any other. Love how so many people get in the kitchen and with so much love make that one dish everyone can't wait to have each year. My dad's 79th birthday falls on Thanksgiving this year so I am going to roll up my sleeves and make his mom's famous yeast rolls. My granny Yates didn't have an exact recipe but she did let me watch. I am not sure they are perfect but my version seems to always bring a smile to my dads face and that is what is so great about Thanksgiving. Wishing each and everyone of you a great day and an even better week ahead. Take a moment to tell yourself you are wonderful and you can and will make a difference in this challenging world we live in. Peace! |

Just like every morning, my almost 11 month old pup woke me up at 5 am. I took him and the girls outside, came back in and we all went back to bed...lol I have had multiple cups of coffee this morning. I cannot wait for the unpacking to be complete. I will be organizing this morning, because the plan is to just relax this afternoon/evening. Have a great day! |

Made my dad hamburger gravy and biscuits took a big ole pan over. He,s 88 yo and cant keep any weight on him so he gets all of his favorite stuff. read my sunday paper and had a iced mocha Washed clothes started packing and now in my recliner as the seahawks are on. |

I just woke up and am not even out of bed yet. It's a chilly, windy, sunny day - I'll need a sweater to take Tiny Dog out, but I expect it will be beautiful and energizing. Breakfast will be bacon and eggs (which Tiny Dog will share a bit of) and Community Coffee with chickory, New Orleans-style. I have a day of chores planned, and I'm going to listen to NPR while I get those done. I'm looking forward to the short week at work (yay!). Thanksgiving will be spent with family. I don't have to do any cooking this year, but I might bake a pie. Then I'll spend the day after filling out my holiday cards to send out and watching _Auntie Mame_. No after-Thanksgiving shopping for me! If it's not bought by Wednesday, I'm ordering it online. Have a great Sunday and a wonderful week, everyone! |

It is a brisk 48 here at the moment. I had to put Hope's sweater on her to go out! I am in a tank & shorts...lol. It will warm up to low 80's today...just a couple chilly nights then back to warmer temps at night. I love when it is brisk like this. Hope is so frisky, too. She is blind but she dances around my feet & tries to play. She follows sound...and does really well with it. I have to get packing today for my out of state trip Tuesday...I am so excited. I haven't been on a trip in a good while... Over a year in fact! I can't wait to get the coloring projects & see what everyone else has done....:). May you all have an awesome week ahead. It will be a short week for the worker bees. Safe travels for all who will travel.... |

It is a cool 56° here with an expected high of 66° both today and tomorrow before the steady climb back into the high 70's. It remains very sunny, and I am enjoying the cooler temps. I have been in the garage off and on the last couple of days organizing & cleaning my tools and setting up a workshop of sorts, and will be back at it again today. At some point I am going out for a walk while it is cool enough to walk in the middle of the afternoon. I hope you all enjoy your Sunday, whatever it may entail. :) |

Also helping my daughter update her resume as she has been asked to come in and talk to a local tv/movie production company as a potential production assistant. This is quite exciting. Hope everyone is well and happy today. Our doxie Max has become obsessed with one of our rolling shelves thinking there is something under it. We have moved it numerous times and he still stands and barks at it non-stop. I spent hours trying to figure out what on earth he was thinking he was seeing and then it hit me. He wasn't looking under the shelf he was looking at the bottom shelf. I have a clear box that has a battery operated daisy in it and apparently when we moved it the other day to clean one of the moving parts are randomly moving. :-). Life with Doxies. I got the day off by accident; my car wouldn't start.

My son Eddie wasn't able to be here on Thanksgiving due to bad weather. But family friend's picked him up yesterday, took him to my house, so he could get cleaned up and get a good night's rest. He is coming to spend the afternoon with me, so I've ordered two guest trays of food for him, and am looking forward to seeing him because I haven't seen him since last July. He's been working two jobs and carrying one business class per term at the community college where he lives southern Oregon. Right now, my elderly room mate is out with her husband to attend church and spend the day with her family. I'm watching episode after episode of Downtown Abbey on PBS/OPB. I hope everyone has a lovely Sunday, today. :bouquet: |
