Getting my clothes ready for work next week and smiling big time cuz I won a *jeans pass* and I can wear jeans all week :)

I'm watching HBO while eating my eggwhite omelet, l am lmao about his bit about getting older.

The good news? It is laugh outloud funny.

The bad news?

I recognize myself in his bits about the trouble getting things open like CD packages and the count-down of seconds on the green crossing at a light and hoping you are walking fast enough to get to the other side before it hits zero.

As per another post. I dont feel good. Feel drained and just ache all over. So I grabbed laptop as well as my orange juice and was looking for Simon cause he is the best little cuddle buddy ever lol and walk into my bedroom to see him laying sprawled out in front of my pillow snoring..I woke him up... :(

I could watch that little puppy sleep forever. It is the cutest little thing to see him sleep.

He makes me smile and my heart just melted...

A conversation I just had with my son:

S (he was reading about New York allowing gay marriage): Does our state allow gay marriage?
M: No, no way
S: Why not?
M: A lot of people think it's wrong and immoral, that marriage is between a man and a woman
S: Mom, that's just dumb. It's no one else's business.

He's 11, and doesn't know about me-at least I don't think so. Kids are smarter than we think.

A 3 hr phone conversation!

Spending the day at the lake. :)

My son is the source of a lot of my smiles, this last one a little while ago while we were on the phone.

Upon me answering the phone he says, rough night mom? I proceed to tell him about my events from last evening. At which time he says, addressing his GF in the car, see...what a role model!

my hibiscus is in full bloom and its lovely! I just planted it last year and this is the first season it bloomed!
