Yesterday - a surprise phone call...exactly what I needed after a long, but good, day at work...
Also yesterday - ending the week without a mountain of files on my desk! |
Driving through the countryside on my travels today and seeing the abundance of new life....spring is truly magical!

Seeing a fellowship member return beaten after another jail sentence. My heart went out to him but I was so happy to see him back to give it a fresh go.
You can do it S! :cheerleader: Seeing another member pick up her 30 day keyfob...she's been so shy and not spoken in a meeting until today. Amazing stuff! |

getting messages from my son, best best friend and other best friend for mother's day...
someone taking me to a special place because they're so thoughtful and always looking for things that make me feel appreciated and smile ... finding Toffee Pecan Honey Butter and Anna's almond thins...that's HEAVEN hearing that a dear friend had a wonderful weekend with family and baby nieces ... finding my own personal waterfall and an entire field of mountain laurel to enjoy since no one else hiked as high up as I did.. it's like an oasis of paradise up there. feeling Momma D watching over me |

Riding my bike along the river that runs through the metro park on an absolutely lovely afternoon.
Red buds and crab apple trees in full bloom, under a bright blue sky, scattered with fluffy white clouds, birds singing and frogs chirping... I had the best time racing down that bike path, so free and happy... like little kid, silly kinda happy. ... ... ... |

What brought me joy...
Seeing the ultrasound picture of my friends 9 week old baby. So freakin' cute... looks like a gummy bear :) |
Looking at the clock and realizing in 4 minutes I am free to go home!!! WOOHOO.. I miss my pups... and I am sure they miss me... Mentally preparing to be knocked over by them a few times

Several things...
A surprise! My lunch break! A photo! An awesome rainbow I saw this evening near my home...took several photos and when I got home noticed it was actually double rainbow! Oh, the rainbow also "followed" me home...it was over my apartment complex! |
Finding both the geocaches I looked for. I am at 275 and my goal for the end of the year is 300.
