going out for breakfast with my love then a walk around beautiful green lakes with our dogs watching gracie take steps into the river chasing fish it is so very beautiful out there and I am glad I was feeling better so we could go.. but bringing me joy is just being with my wife living and loving this beautiful perfect life we have:moonstars:

Justin got a new job!! Well, was offered but needs to get through all the background and yadayada and then can start. She is so amazing!! She just passed her medical coding national certification, and 2 weeks later, hired in a position with tons of growth and potential! Exciting! JOY!

The fact that I am OCD about my camping equipment. It brought me GREAT joy to pull down the supplies, tents, totes, etc and have them loaded in the truck all in under an hour. It's the first time this season they've been out.
I am joyful to get back out in nature this weekend. |

What brought me joy today?
Spending time with b-f folk (I think we're all from this forum) and not having to deal with any weird looks from strangers and seeing all the butches relaxed. Sometimes I forget how stressful social events can be -- until we attend one like this and there's nothing but respect and acceptance. - Pink (I've always been more of a lurker. It's been awhile since I've visited, but talking about the site today made me nostalgic to come back.) |
An amazing afternoon on the lake...despite forecasts to the contrary, the weather was absolutely perfect and, as an added bonus, yesterday's sunburn didn't get any worse...LOL

it's an awesome feeling when someone important to you thinks enough of you to go out of their way to find your favorite treats...so far outa their way that they crossed the state line to find just what they were looking for.
I was asked today to put something up in my new pantry ...so delightful to find several canning jars of my favorite homemade pickled beats. a rare treat |

To have answered the phone tonight and hear the voice of a little girl who used to live her. Listening to the excitement of coming home from Paris! Telling me she had flat thin pancakes with all kinds of toppings and then rolled up. (Crepes) To have been a part of her life, and for her to have called. I did make a difference. Sweet feelings fill me up. Oh the joy! |
Thinking of all the fun I had last week on vacation. I am all tanned up and rested and ready to take on the work week. :)

This morning my scale showed that I've lost 14.6 lbs in the last 28 days!
Can't wait to see what my weight loss doctor's scale (my "official" one) shows at my appointment later this morning... |
