Bundled up on the couch, popping Sudafed and Halls and feeling pretty miserable. Thought I managed to hold off getting a sinus infection. Nope. :(

Sunday morning freeze your rump off!
I did not turn on the heat in the house last night. I got up at 5:00, turned the electric heaters on in the kitchen and dining room for Jennifer and Kevin so they would not feel the shock of getting from under their warm comforters and out of bed. They made haste on first potty break. I looked at the outdoor thermostat on our way inside and it had not reached 30 degrees. Once back inside, promptly turned on the central heat inside the house. |

The countdown is on. Christmas is around the corner and I haven't a clue what to buy anyone. I am seriously thinking about making donations in my family's names this year. It's cold and rainy today. Think I am going to throw a roast in the slow cooker and do as little as possible. Hope everyone has a great Sunday and an even better week ahead. Peace! |

Have been out and about this morning running errands. Dinner is in the crock pot and I am off to a lesbian bowling meet with a bunch of self proclaimed non-bowlers and clumsy people. Self included. Slept in super late. Good coffee. Amazing conversation. Happy puppy. Now on to my baking plans today. Time for a trip to the market for a few last-minute ingredients and then home for a marathon of mixing and baking and mess-making. |
I spent the morning at a good friends house playing with and getting to know her sweet new rescue dog. Then errands, now going to head out soon to meet a friend for tea. Then home to gear up for the week ahead.

I got 8 hours of sleep, had breakfast, caught up with emails, washed a load of laundry, went to the laundromat with one of my rugs, dropped some mail off at the post office and found a nifty ottoman that's a beautiful turquoise.

I got approximately 8 hours of sleep, minus a couple of brief awakenings, and am lounging about the house until I decide on breakfast. I still have a couple hours until I have to go into work so I'm definitely taking it easy. It's cold and raining outside so I'm staying inside as long as possible.

This Sunday will be spent in proactive anticipation of the arrival of my bandsaw at some point today! I am downloading a few project patterns, finishing up some prior projects, and deciding where I want to set up the saw. I am so excited! My Christmas presents will be opened a few days early this year!

Relaxing in bed today after an overly social yesterday. Thankful for some quiet, alone time while my wife is working. Later, I have an end-of-season gathering with my choir and then it's time to get ready for work.

Read the sunday paper,went outside to work in the yard and 2 hours later even thou it is 32 degree....warmer than last 3 days i was cold enough. Trying to fill the yard waste bin. Filled bird feeders.
Got a few xams goodies for my nephews. Took my sisters "shit Zoo" { ruger} back to her....I dog sit when she works grave yard. Sold my dad.s generator...5 years old never been used....just started a few times as it shoulda been. now watching a bit of football |

I already posted this elsewhere but what the heck...I've got two giant pots on the stove. One's got only veggies and the other has a mix of veggies and turkey kielbasa. This will carry me through until it's black eyed peas, greens and ham time.
Trash and recycling have been taken out and I opened my pressies and communicated my appreciation. I'm on laundry load #3 of 5, the bed has fresh sheets and I've made and eaten Christmas brunch. One of the many TV holiday movies has been watched and I will either continue to play them or go out to see a movie in the theatre. Not sure yet. |

I am not leaving the house for anything today, unless forced by some unforeseen event. Sadie is stretched out on the living room floor, tired from playing with her new stuffed babies, and I am headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner because I messed around last evening and neglected to bake it then.
