have been doing really good with the medicine by taking the antibiotics on time and only taking a fraction of the pain meds prescribed (though I keep them nearby, if needed).

I think I'll still be able to sew, play the piano, and use the mouse. I'll know better after seeing the doctor in a couple days.

hand is getting stronger every day—so far, so good.

I missed your original post about your accident. How scary! I remember seeing my brother with a similar cut when we were kids and the amount of blood was... well you know. I'm so glad to hear you are on the mend.

I'm feeling a little sleepy after a restless night but ready to seize the day.

Good. Things went well at the doctors office. I’m healing fine (no swelling nor infections) and will be able to do most things I’ve done before. My thumb is a little numb and tingly, but I’ll still be able to use it. It’s too early to tell If the numbing and tingling will last, but things are looking good.

I have to go back to the doctor tomorrow to have them reset this splint. It’s too tight and my fingers are too restricted, but other than that I’m doing good.

I can’t drive a stick shift for at least another two weeks and have decided to sell it. I’m gonna go take a look at some regular sized cars with automatic transmissions after I leave the doctor tomorrow. I’m going to miss driving that car, but it’s time for a change.

Great! I forgot what no chronic pain was like. I still have some muscle pain and twinges from my recent surgery. Having your abdomen cut into twice within 7 to 8 months I’d say that’s normal. I feel good more than that though.... I’m off the nerve meds now and my mental state is really good. My energy level is way up compared to before this last surgery. I’m constantly up and moving when before I would tire out or be in too much pain. My blood counts are normal finally! Yes life is looking good. :)

Rough. I'm not the type of person that can short themselves of proper sleep several days throughout the week and still be okay. Add in the start of menses and I sincerely fear for people today if they are stupid as I just won't be able to reign in my venom. Maybe I'll come home early. It's a snow day so I'll have to go in and see the damage, et cetera, but maybe I can leave early.

*crosses fingers*

I feel like playing hooky today.

I want to go car shopping with my buddy Norbert then off to the movies. That’s what I feel like doing but I’m going to go to work. Norbert can’t afford the time off and neither can I. At least today is Friday. There is that.

I have to get a car with an automatic transmission so I can move on the knee surgery. Gotta make that happen soon.

I could feel better but I don't know what that feels like.

FireSignFemme 03-01-2019 12:38 PM

A bit irritated.

firecat242 03-01-2019 02:47 PM

Confused. I am on vacation and I really don't know what to do with myself.
And now I am depressed because I am not doing anything and I am on freakin' vacation. Faced with this much angst.....I need a nap.

Orema 03-11-2019 11:34 AM

Frustrated at work, but I'll get over it.

candy_coated_bitch 03-11-2019 02:47 PM

Satiated and excited yet also bored.

FireSignFemme 03-11-2019 10:53 PM

A little lonely, I'm not sure why. I don't get this way very often, weird.

Kenna 03-12-2019 04:56 AM

Sore. Very sore. And muscles in my legs keep feeling like tiny fish flopping around.
Smashed my toes yesterday while working in my workshop.

Tired.

Amused at my dogs who are oblivious to Daylight Savings Time. It usually takes them at least 2 months for them to change their morning potty break times.

JDeere 03-12-2019 03:04 PM

Pretty good except mild allergies going on.

Kenna 03-12-2019 07:09 PM

Still very sore. Spent most the day resting.

Orema 03-13-2019 05:49 AM

Pretty good. See the wrist doctor this morning and will get a chance to gently scratch it. Hoping he can remove the stitches in my thumb today. Will go someplace afterward to treat myself to something. Not sure what, but I'll find something to tickle my fancy.

I seriously over did it these past several days. I'm happy with my accomplishments but damn my body is screaming.

Gemme 03-25-2019 09:17 AM

I'm crampy and not feeling 100% but it could be worse. I'm off today so I can spend most of the day in my pajamas so that's not too bad. I'll survive.
