Hearing that my youngest grandaughter was in tears over the mirning kindergarden class because in her words she is not a morning person, hearing my daughter say "she'll get over it" telling my daughter she sounds like her mother---jouyous :) little ones are off to school.next week ans the new baby coming in just 6 weeks....

Spending some time today doing shaping exercises with my sweet Sadie. She catches on so quickly and just loves to learn new things. She is awesome! :)

driving my nephew somewhere brings me joy.. Both of us do the same thing a word will trigger lyrics. So every time one says something the other will bust out in song

Life did...

I try really hard to see the positive side of life...or at least find one little bit of good in a big old pile of cow by product...

It's very difficult sometimes and I have to narrow my focus to a tree branch or a bird or a flower or it being under 70 degrees. Sometimes its the small things that save us...

One truth that I cling to desperately is ...it will get better....it might not be what you thought better was, it may not have a bright shiny sign that blinks BETTER... but there is a slight shift in the wind that says spring is going to come..

Last night there was a slight shift in the wind reminding me that better is just over there...

I worry at times if I'll fit in if I ever go back home to live.

Talked on the phone with a mate and it felt so comfortable. Maybe there's a place for me after all.

A good nights sleep

Feeling renewed...

My workday ending at noon...and my weekend officially beginning :)

I am an evaluator for our local community theater alliance. I go to plays and evaluate the actors, stage, lighting, choreography, etc. My husband got me into this. He is an actor and does lights. I have grown to love the members of this tight knit community, and know its roller coaster. Oh, the drama! LOL and Politics! But wow, the creativity and talent!

All of our evaluations are gathered at the end of the year and people and shows are nominated for various awards. Tonight was the annual awards. I got to watch some incredible talent be recognized. And even tho they were all competing against each other, they shouted and clapped for each other, genuinely, whenever whoever won. I was so proud to be amongst all these thespian giants.

Such joy I had tonight...
