Is anyone else going through this - around here it's still pretty much for many things get while the getting is good or plan on doing without for awhile. What troubles me is as bad as things have been on account of COVID they're nowhere near as bad as they could be, have been many times throughout history. Or for that matter are right now in different parts of the world. I took so much for granted before COVID. I've certainly gotten spoiled.

I bought food to cook and many delicious treats for when I stay with my Mom this coming weekend, including:
- cedar planked salmon
- black and white cookies
- ham salad and chicken salad
- some beautiful asparagus
- ingredients for enchiladas
- ingredients for chicken pot pie
- cranberry nut bread
- Krusteaz blueberry muffin mix, so we can bake together

Grandbaby size bottle of water
3 dressier and 3 more casual tops
7 plastic crates, flimsy but don't really need to be all that sturdy for organizing soup packets, dip mixes Top Ramen and stuff.

My grandson is going through that phase it seems a lot of boys do where making poo jokes and calling each other poo poo head names and sharing disgusting crap stories just seems to make life more worth living for them. So when I found these cards I thought well if we have to discuss this why not just make the best of it and try and put a more scientific spin on things.

I have once again upgraded my cell phone. Looking back at the above post, I can see that I did not get nearly four years out of my most recent phone (only 2 1/2.) I hope that I don't hate upgrading my phone as much as I did last time. I had to go to Verizon to get them to back it up, because the Verizon app did not work. It also took me weeks to get my settings back the way I wanted them. I'm hoping that because my new phone is also a Motorola, it will copy everything better.

The last bracelet she made for me, as a thank you gift to me, was an LGBTQ+ rainbow bracelet with my name on it. I'm wearing it now.
