Lettre a mon amour

badly needing a revision, 2004:

Have I told you how much I loved you? I'm sure I have. It's just every time I breathe I think about you and how lucky I am to have you in my life. Have I told you how beautiful you are to me? I think I have. Beauty like yours never goes unoticed, especially when my heart skips a beat everytime I look at you. If I have not told you any of these things today, it's because I figure you should know. Remember that no day passes by where i dont wake up wanting you by my side and in my life. How could I have existed without you all this time? Each and every time I am around you I feel the whole world has stopped for us, so we can spend forever together. Have I held your hand and and touched your face? I must have. I can still feel your hand in mine and the warmth of your soft face still lingering in my other hand. Have I taken you aside and kissed you? I know I have. I can still feel the heat and the passion from your last kiss still teasing me and leaving me wanting more. If I have not done any of these things today, it's because i'm still in my dream where it's always happening. I want to be with you always, so I write to you, this Lettre a mon amour

When women understand that governments and religions are human inventions; that bibles, prayer-books, catechisms, and encyclical letters are all emanations from the brain of man, they will no longer be oppressed by the injunctions that come to them with the divine authority of "thus saith the Lord."

So very true. The bible is mans way to control man. Nothing more. A nice collection of mythology.

Limitless ...

Let your love flow outward through the universe, To its height, its depth, its broad extent, A limitless love, without hatred or enmity. Then as you stand or walk, Sit or lie down, As long as you are awake, Strive for this with a one-pointed mind; Your life will bring heaven to earth.

~ Sutta Nipata

This woman still amazes me

The Bible teaches that woman brought sin and death into the world, that she precipitated the fall of the race, that she was arraigned before the judgment seat of Heaven, tried, condemned and sentenced. Marriage for her was to be a condition of bondage, maternity a period of suffering and anguish, and in silence and subjection, she was to play the role of a dependent on man's bounty for all her material wants, and for all the information she might desire.... Here is the Bible position of woman briefly summed up.

-- Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Introduction, The Women's Bible 1895

According to the Gospel of Thomas (The Forbidden Gospel, Saying 22)

When Peter expressed his disapproval of the presence of Mary Magdalene, (Jesus's first woman disciple) in their entourage Jesus said," "When you make male and female, the two into one spirit, and when you make the inner spirit as the outer, into a single spirit as one, undivided, so that the male shall not be male, and the female not female, yet together, as One, you will enter my kingdom."

(Saying:616)-And Salome said to Jesus,"Who are you man?" Jesus replied, "I am he who exists from the undivided."

According to the Gospel of Philip-7 Nag Hammadi, Egypt,1947
Then Jesus said, " When the Spirit of Eve female, was in Adam, and they were as one, there was no death in the world. but when her female Spirit became separated from his male Spirit, spiritual death came into being."

“She seems so cool, so focused, so quiet, yet her eyes remain fixed upon the horizon. You think you know all there is to know about her immediately upon meeting her, but everything you think you know is wrong. Passion flows through her like a river of blood.

Someone we deserve will have us feeling alive inside, will be somebody that we are really attracted to, not only physically, but mentally, and spiritually. Don't settle for what may seem ok, settle for being in love and being with someone who only wants to see you happy!

Let us conquer hate. Work for peace. And, exist in love ...

"When I say it's you I like, I'm talking about that part of you that knows that life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch. That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things without which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace that rises triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed."

“It amazes me that people think their soul mate is going to show up in their life at this predestined time and be this flawless person. A true soul mate is a mirror of yourself, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life. Sure, they have a common upbringing, similar interests but they have the one thing you don’t have which is the introspection to help you become great. What use is a soul mate if they can’t help free you from yourself so you can live your life mission?”
― Shannon L. Alder

A soulmate is an ongoing connection with another individual that the soul picks up again in various times and places over lifetimes. We are attracted to another person at a soul level not because that person is our unique complement, but because by being with that individual, we are somehow provided with an impetus to become whole ourselves.
~Edgar Cayce
