GOING TO SLEEP AND WAKING UP WITH MY BABIES. CUDDLES, KISSES, GIGGLES. HER MAKING COFFEE THIS MORNING AND ME MAKING BREAKFAST, A NICE TEAMWORK.

Madam Eleven Year Old. She's so cute - looks like a puppy.

Waking up with my face nearly up against the wall and M cuddling me from behind as though hy's trying to mash me into hys skin. I tried to disengage myself, but all I got was a slight flailing of limbs and further entrapment. Despite the discomfort and cold wall on my nose, I had to smile. :)

The key was whispering, "Honey... I have to get up and make the coffee." Instant roll-away and, "Mm, okay. Fine."

... and I still haven't made hym coffee. :p

borrowed a GPS from a friend ..who loves British accents (especially women's) and set the GPS to a British female voice ..
texted friend to let her know I arrived safe and only fussed at her British sweetheart one time ..
loved her response : oh come on now don't insult her, you might need her again!

Getting some of my Christmas party invites in the mail today...looking forward to buying some beautiful holiday frocks for them! :toast:

The Christmas tree is up, stockings hung on the mantle and the house mostly decorated. It's a tradition that maybe will be followed. Another memory made :)

Thinking of her always makes me smile.
Knowing that 26 days from now I get to see her.
Being able to spend the days leading up to the holiday with her helps lessen the hurt of the holidays for me.

That's what made me smile today.

Playing with our new puppy, Smudge. Taking him to get his shots and vet check up. Seeing everyone fuss over him! He won the cutest puppy picture contest at the vet! (They take pics of all the new puppies). Watching Justin so happy about her new baby. Nothing left to do but smile, smile, smile :-D

Madam Eleven Year Old aka Madam Butterfly aka Tau Kay Sau (Lady Boss) ... is so damn cute and adorable.

Talking on the phone to my seven-year-old who said 'I love you so much, mommy' like he really meant it.

Looking after my friends dog for the weekend, and walking him and getting so many compliments on how well behaved he is and what a good looking dog he is. It's amazing how many people will actually stop and talk when you walk with a dog, whereas they would normally not even make eye contact when you passed them.
I'm booking him every weekend for walks now!!

And the weather this weekend made me smile - we finally experienced a Spring day, two weeks out from Summer - 32 degerees today and glorious!! Makes a person feel good to be alive.

waking up at 5am a bit disoriented, then realizing that today is Sunday and not a work day. cuddling back under my warm quilt
