Burgers on the grill and homemade Mac n cheese

well.. pizza was the plan, but the guy roommate decided BBQ chicken and bbq'ing potatoes and fresh green beans.. OK :)

im actually thinking of taking a friend out that has helped me through some really rough times lately... she has been a wonderful inspiration for me lately... and i can never thank her enough
so now its determining... steak, mexican or greek... she's never had greek.. hmm that's a thought |
Last night we had dinner out with friends. I had...
chicken fajita nachos with sour cream & guacamole :) Tonight, I have no idea. Depends on whether D has to go out of town tonight. In that case, it will be a take out pizza and a cheap bottle of wine |

a roast baked in rosemary garlic tomatoes and onion. spaghetti squash and a mixed pepper vegetable. i hope it is as yummy as it smells.

I made...
Kielbasa sauteed with half a shallot, then glazed with barbecue sauce... Icky boxed scalloped potatoes..cuz I forgot we didn't have any real taters...but I made them in the oven...still never buying them again...like ever Roasted parsnips drizzled with olive oil and seasoned with Trader Joe's everyday spice (but I over cooked them...sigh) Leftover pie for dessert |
Steak with sauteed onions mushrooms and garlic, tortellini tossed in warmed chopped tomatoes and Parmesan, and steamed broccoli.
And a Guinness. Welcome Friday! |
We had baked pork chops with potatoes, onions and mushrooms with a home made gravy covering it and baked together....think it turned it out good the girl seemed to like it

Tonight I am making a slow cooker Italian chicken dish....it has veggies and noodles...if it turns out well then I will post the recipe in the delicious thread :)

Tonight i'm frying catfish,hush puppies,with some baked fries for my son and a combo salad for me.

Sweet Italian sausage, multigrain pasta and marinara sauce. A salad with green olives, carrots and cheddar.

mmmmmm, I hear it's going to be my brothers BBQ ribs and beer with my nieces. Something was salad about, "oh, please daddy, make that potato salad too" . It's wonderful to be with my family on vacay :)

Fresh caught bluefish on the grill. Not my favorite thing. No matter how you cook it, it still tastes like and has the texture of softened lard. |
