I wanted Anya but someone that I don't see on BFP anymore, already had taken it (rats!). Anya is my name on a multi-player game I play on my IPhone.
I didn't expect it to be taken, so instead of thinking about it for a while, like I should have, I added a second first name so I still could use Anya. Georgia, after the king of zombie flicks- George A. Romero. Aren't you glad you asked, lol! Just call me Anya:) |

When I taught in China, one of my students was named Zhang Guihong. Gui means "precious" or "expensive", "dear", and Hong is "red" (you might have heard of hong bao, those red envelopes given at Chinese New Year). GuiHong, who went by the English name of Holly, always told me her name meant "precious ruby". She and I became close friends, having long talks on buses and rooftops, and I have used her name for most of my internets ever since.
I named my daughter Holly, in her honor :). |

This is soooooooooooo interesting!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!! And i always thought your stage name was the name of your first pet and the last name was the street you were born on. So many of those things out there. Mine, btw would have been Casper Petersburg...sounds kinda hootie. Maybe i should change my online name to that. lol |

I considered Boomchickafonzworth since that was my childhood pet turtle's name but thought nah.. just silly using a turtle's name, so I went with my Chihuaha's name Sassy_girl! Yes now that made sense.

I have been JoSchmooze since the days of the LGBT on aol. I was "talking up" a couple women in one of the chat rooms and one of my friends says (in the chat room) "Lookit that Jo - just schmoozing all the ladies"... Looks like it has stuck real well....*grinning* |

My maternal grandmother couldn't pronounce my name she called me Katalina / hence Kat. I added the fl it's where I live now.
