The term "steampunk" was only introduced to me in the past day or so, while watching one of my favorite films, Perfect Creature. It is def a genre I love. Visually, beautiful and creative and the use of cogs/ wheels fans/ steam is both brilliant and desperate in its conception.
There always seems to be an impoverished refinement to everything I have seen in this genre, which to me, could very well be what the future does hold.

ooooh, just started poking around in here as my halloween costume was meant to be a victorian/steampunk female version of the penguin. I had to pop the gear out of my monocle because it kept hitting my eyeball, but I'm planning on modding it so it can be an eyepatch instead. That, or putting the gears along the edge, not sure yet. Thanks for the thread!
