Coffee with a very special friend on Saturday; delivered Valentines cards and gifts to friends yesterday and spent a while at my Mom's grave before heading off to a favourite place...alas not the one planned, but nice just the same.

Man! all I did was work , , went out to eat saturday night and sunday night cause I was too tired to cook... oh well made lots of money.

i was off work, nice to have a weekend off.. yayness! last night i went out for drinks with my 2 cousins which i grew up with but haven't seen in years.. we've decided this whole too busy for stuff is over and we're making time from now on.. so we went to East Side Mario's, had a drink and dinner, and i ordered a daquiri for my drink.. when it came, it was HUGE.. and needless to say i sucked it back fast and it hit me like a ton of bricks.. very rare i drink even lol!!! and apparently, i was entertaining, go figure =) seriously though, we had a good time. was nice to get out, went to the coffee shop afterwards and gabbed our faces off.. my daughter had a friend over yesterday for the day.. and saturday we made nachos and hung out around the house, since my son had to work.. all in all, great weekend, great friends, wonderful conversation, lots of quality time♥, time with loved ones.. perfect ♥ |
This past weekend, not much. I worked and continued collecting small bits of furniture to add to our new place. Now, this coming weekend, we're moving so that's going to be exciting and and rough and sweaty.
I need to buy a bed set. :blink: |

On Sunday, we took a spontaneous drive to MA, to MASS MoCa, a museum of contemporary art. It was awesome, and great to get away for the day, even though we left a ton of work to be done at home.

It was a holiday weekend here - Monday was Family Day.
Friday afternoon my sister and I visited our brother for a bit. Then we went to see our SIL. A nice quiet weekend - until it snowed! Headed home this morning - a stop to visit a cousin. Then some yarn shopping, lunch in a nice little tourist town. Stopped by the casino - I was pretty lucky - for a change! Just got home a little while ago. Ready to hit the sack - dead tired. |
Friday night nothing
Saturday nothing worked all day . Sunday went to seea play "A weekend with Pablo Picasso", it was very good especially if your a creative type/artist. very cool., think we plan to go see more plays in the near future. I'm just glad to get to do anything besides work all weekend. |
Saturday - it was "Casino Night" at our local dungeon/BDSM club... and it was a blast!
Sunday - played in a poker tournament and made top 5! woo hooo! |

Saturday worked all day and Saturday night worked on soap Sunday went to the mall and had lunch out , worked a few hours late afternoon than worked on easter soap , .So I pretty much worked!! I so need a vacation pretty soon . |
On Saturday, we took my daughter and her friend to see "Beastly" and then out to dinner. Yesterday, we hung at home and tried to get to a few things--laundry, de-cluttering, cleaning the kitchen. I spent too much time on the computer, looking at stuff and ordering things for the wedding. From the comfort of my chair, I ordered shoes, jewelry, and placecards.

I went to see the local production of the Boys Next Door with my sister. Well written and well performed. Took an uncomfortable subject for the main stream population (MR/DD) and made in comfortable. Using comedy as an effective and yet sensitive educational tool, the audience was brought into the lives of the 4 group home residences and the people in their lives.

My sister and I drove down to see our SIL for a few days. She is doing my taxes so I had some extra stuff that she needed.
Had to cut our visit short because of a storm - - mostly rain on the drive home but shortly after we got here it started to snow. Sunday I just stayed in and knit and surfed. |
I worked on my friends ranch again this past weekend, building fences.

I slept very late Saterday morning,then the mardi gras parade was in the afternoon..couldnt help but hear it as it goes two blocks from my house.

Time with Friends
Tacked the weekend on to the end of a business trip to Los Angeles/San Diego and got to spend some time with some California friends! It was a great weekend!

Blaze got to go fishing on his kayak all day Saturday, and caught 6 big fish for me , Blaze said he was the hunter gatherer. haha. He got sunburned too. I was working all day Sat.
Sunday went out for breakfast, and did some shopping together. Sunday is the only day we both are off from work . |
I had my "friend" over not technically a girlfriend yet but still we had fun on Friday, Sat did laundry and Sunday bought fabric for a skirt I am about to make this week for next week's date!!

I'm going to play with some leprechauns this coming Saturday, after work. Then I'm dragging Ebon to go shopping on Sunday. He'll hate it, but it needs to be done. I luvz our new place! :stillheart:

Saturday morning I went to pick up my soccer buddy, took the train into Toronto and went to the match. A quick stop at the pub after, then the train home. Took dog for a walk and then into town to meet up with friends. Back home around 10 to watch NCAA. Up until 5am talking, drinking and smoking cigars.
Sunday - late morning! Walked dog. Did some laundry. Homeward bound around 4. My sister got her income tax return so she got pizza for dinner. Watched Celebrity Apprentice. Surfed and played games on FB. |
I tell you, the weekend is always so busy...
Friday evening ~ we worked on the raised flower bed, planted more flowers, ordered a pizza & sipped a couple beers on the deck. Saturday ~ got my hair done, D & I met up with Durrrrrrrr for lunch and a lil' shopping, and had a couple of friends over for dinner. Sunday ~ took my mom to lunch & the movies to see HOP, and spent the rest of the day relaxing with my honey. Man, no wonder the weekends seem to fly by! |
Duded-up, took some pain meds..... danced country! Where there is a will, there is a way!

Friday: helped my sister design a "Thank You" card for her son's former principal. (Just a pic of her son at his current co-op job. Picture printed on construction paper. Paper was then cut to size, folded and voila! a card. Then we dug around in the crafty stuff for lettering and decorations).
Saturday: read, worked on Easter crafty stuff, went into Toronto for my bff's birthday dinner. Got home after midnight. Sunday: read, surfed, went for a walk in this gorgeous weather, organizing stuff around apartment. Watched tv - it seems I'm addicted to A&E's "Hoarding." |
Friday night played BINGO and won $1600...then went home and got even luckier:sunglass:
Saturday took my daughter shopping for Prom stuff and out to lunch at Chili's...met up with my Kasey after her Poker tourney and she took us out to dinner. Sunday went to Church and lunch with friends, then saw the movie "Soul Surfer". I also managed groceries, cooking, laundry and house cleaning.....Super woman, yep, that's me! LOL |
My g/f and I had a barbeque on Friday and Saturday she went home to Forest Hills, Queens to see her family, she has family I don't so it was a couple of days without her now she is headed back home to NJ to see me and the dogs and cat!!

I was extremely busy due to the Easter Holiday , so we didn't do anything , I was working,
Sunday we went out for Easter brunch, did a little shopping came home,napped, than took a walk in a near by park. Baked a ham::whoop: |

On Friday night, we had an Easter Egg dying/Easter basket assembly party and then played a couple of games of fact or crap.
Saturday, several folks went with Pup to deliver the Easter baskets (50 of them!) to a local nursing home and took along four dogs for some pet therapy. I cooked some brunch and then we hit the pool for the first time this year! Still a little chilly, but it won't be long! Sunday, had a pretty laid back day, took a nap, and just had a lazy afternoon! All in all, a great weekend! Glynn |

Spent the weekend covered in dirt, planting flowers for D's mom on Friday & Saturday. 2 raised flower beds, 10 pots and at least 10 hanging baskets.
Sunday, I picked up my mom & dad to bring them to Easter lunch at Cracker Barrel... yep, their favorite. Dropped my dad off so he could take a nap, and did a lil' shopping with my mom at Big Lots. Then enjoyed a lazy Sunday evening with my boo, cuddled on the couch watching tv and munching on frozen pizza. |
