A Sunday off but not necessarily easy. Any day I set the alarm is not 'easy' in my book. I worked out, went to the bank and grocery store, home for breakfast and a shower and then to the adoption fundraiser and Sam's Club and Savers to drop off a toy and small bag of donations and then I popped in the theatre to see when Goosebumps was playing, bought a ticket, went home for lunch and to visit with a coworker briefly, went to see the movie, came home to do some chores, have dinner and catch up from the weekend's DVRing. It's far from morning now, but now it's easier. lol

I'm working but it's an easy Sunday for me because no one else is in the office. I'll go to Panera's in a little while to get a pumpkin muffin and some decaf and return back to work. On my way home I'll stop at Trader Joes. Life could be worse for me. Hoping everyone has a lovely Sunday. |

Ah the cool air is my favorite way to start the day with a nice hot cup of coffee. Lot's to do today, birthday party for a friends little 3 year old, then off to a Aromatherapy essential oil class, then home to get ready for the work week. It's a busy Sunday for me. I'll be compiling the BFP Holiday Card Exchange List and sending it out! Now we can all get started on our cards!
I have to deep clean the kitchen. Then I have two more episodes of Homeland to watch, and I'll be all caught up for the new season. Happy Sunday everyone! |
What an awesome Sunday I had!
I stayed in bed til 8...which I never do...got up and cleaned the kitchen (I have to clean before I cook...its an OCD thing) and made awesome French press coffee and Pumpkin pancakes! I went and got me a Sunday paper, drank my coffee and played silly games on Facebook... Then I got some cleaning done before the magical hour of 1pm. GAME TIME!!! I made pizza at halftime and brownies once the pizza was out... Now a little more cleaning and laundry to put away before I settle down with a book and then some Netflix.. :hangloose: |
Happy Sunday, y'all. It's goooood to have an extra hour this morning. I'm going into work, but it will be easy. I'll take a mid morning break and will go to one of my favorite restaurants (Swami's) for scrambled eggs and a croissant, then back to work. I'll do a Trader Joe's run and watch a movie. Not driving on the freeway this weekend, there will be time for that in a week or so. Life could be worse.

Busy day ahead for Red and I. Getting everything gathered up to go and see the great nephew and his 4 little girls. We are preparing for our new little angel "Eve" to come into the world sometime around the 14th of this month. Can't wait to hold her. I love babies. I did my best to take advantage of the extra hour and sleep in, then I went to pick my :cat: up and we came back and I made breakfast while he adjusted to the new environment. He's adjusting really well, so I'm super happy about that. It's breakfast and some cuddles for me, then work.

Woke up in our hotel at the beach....cuddles with my honey...coffee then breakfast.
Had a leisurely drive up to Savannah for the week. Her son is getting married in the morrow. Will have dinner with him & fiancée this evening. A gorgeous day to drive along A1a and smell the ocean's salty air....sun shining down brightly... Hope everyone has an awesome week... Smiling because Gemme got her Oliver!!! Whoohooo...:).... |

happy sunday i just woke up! well my staycation was a success everything is done except tile...my major project should be done thursday...today i need to go to the grocery and the rest of the day rest...back to work monday... have a great week!

I have a super busy day tomorrow and it is 90° outside once again, so I will just relax and do a bit of tinkering around the house today. So far, I've managed to oil the hinges on the doors. Now the squeaks are gone, I sort of liked them, but I knew it wasn't good for the hinges. Recaulked the bathroom sink and tub, and thinking about putting up new weather stripping around the front and back doors, but I sat down instead. Sadie got tired of following me around and she is stretched out on her bed sound asleep. I think I will have some coffee now. :sunglass:
