after first tweeking my back pulling my trailer outta a muddy hole by hand,
I then high centered the mower while my not long enough ramps fell to the ground. Half in half out the mower teetered precariously,I finally decided to pull trailer forward with a vigirous clutch popping and boom down goes the mower.I then waddled to pasture and stabbed myself with a nail on the piece of plywood ( new ramp idea) .The mud stopped the bleeding and I lugged that heavy wet suckah to my mishap area. I then floored the mower and it was succesfully loaded and taken to the shop.:twitch: major joy indeed |

Waking up to two warm furry fourlegged wonders making sure no one steals me or the bed! Wishing my girl dog,Shadow,a Happy 10th birthday and hoping she has at least 10 more. Feeling totally blessed that I am surrounded by such great people and true friends in my life.Sending up a prayer of love to my father,who passed on to a better place 14 years ago. Two things...
The creative team I have assembled at work for a major project is top-notch. And I don't think I have laughed as much in a meeting as I laughed in a meeting with them today. And noshing on some leftovers from a cook-out yesterday with my best friends. Good friends and good food always make my mood lighter. |
I have to say this here...I was in hysterics...my brother (who is gay) called me up to tell me he got his first thong (underwear) and was going to wear it to see if anyone would notice. Well, he sent me a photograph...and it looked like he was in the buff under his khaki's. His partner saw him and couldn't keep his eyes off his ass. :harley: |

that secret stop i made at bux before my night time class.
soy mocha AND banana/choco chip coffee cake. that test is over, the semester will be over may 5. when i'm falling to sleep sometimes ez tells me crazy stuff like he's going to put the remote in my panties while i'm sleeping and i wake up half-way to laugh but i'm also confused and tell him to stop all with my eyes closed. then at some point in the next day i'll remind him that i know what he told me and it wasn't nice, now that i'm awake, but he denies saying it anyway. also, i think it's sweet (and i feel cared for) when ez wants me to listen to npr podcasts that he's heard during the day--ones that he thinks i'll like. the way the pug puts his WHOLE body into barking, that's a work-out if i ever saw one. |

Waking up to a beautiful sunrise peeking through my window blinds. Italian sweet cream in my coffee. My friendships, near and far, that keep my heart full of love. The inner peace that reminds me that all is right. |

What brought me joy today...
A laughter filled, catch up session with my BBFF last night. It makes me happy when I can hear his smile & laughter. Waking up to another beautiful spring day. The love of a woman, that loves me flaws & all. My jasmine is starting to bud ~ which means full blooms soon! A mocha frapp sitting on my desk, from the man this morning. Seeing sweet comments & pms from friends that I truly adore here! |

What brought me joy today....
The love of family, friends & friends that are closer than family, that surrounds me each & every day. A spur of the moment night out with friends last night. Laughing until we cried ~ nothing is better than that! Lunch plans today with a friend... it's time to do a little catching up! Today is my mom & dad's 43rd wedding anniversary! |
The sun is shining, thats enough to put a smile on anyone's face :D

I had been worried about the feral cats I feed and water, while I was gone. I've been back here now for 6 days. This is what I saw outside my kitchen window as soon as I woke up. Hooray!! They came back! . |
