Laying on the couch, the big dog under my legs and the little one curled up by my side, I'm reading and gingerly sipping ginger tea for my stomach

So grateful for paid sick days, dogs, ginger lemon tea, and good AC

I'm sending my first email
to a very sweet lady to start
the process for my transition.
I'm so excited :)
I qualify for a "scholarship" to
obtain my upper surgery and
my T for a year.

I've been working on this for a while
now so this is VERY promising.

The same thing that has for a week straight....

every glimpse I get of those beautiful mountains....

they just surround me like a hug from mother earth :)

Another cool front in the Deep South. ;) It was 60 degrees this morning. There was a little nip in the air. It feels great! High of 83 today. I'll take it, especially after it was pushing 100 this past weekend.

Having time to spend with my foster dog and one of "my" dogs at the same time. Breaking up a fight by telling them to sit and stay with treats. Teaching the new one to stay EVEN while another one is getting a treat!

This really has to change sissy!!!! I am only a few hours away! And Cali is on my list for this year!!!!

hearing my son and daughter laugh and cut up with each other... for most of their lives they have fought like dragons *hence the double dragon tat on my back*... but now they are living together and helping each other and enjoying each others company... along with their significant others... this.. brings me joy because we are all we have now...

My life!! :-D

Seeing an old friend who retired last year and is doing well. She is really enjoying her life. She rides a Harley (it's beautiful—ivory and black), has ridden one for decades, and she's joined a group of Harley ridin' women.

She's also going to Vegas, Park City, and Yellowstone next month (not on her bike but in her car). It was just great seeing the smiles on her face and her excited spirit. She even lost a few pounds though she didn't need to.

We'll have lunch again before she leaves for Vegas if she can fit me in her busy schedule.

I miss seeing my friend at work, but I'm thrilled for her and seeing her smiling face made my day.

I got an egg! The first egg!!
Not sure which of the hens laid it but you would have thought I won the lottery when I found it.
Can't wait to see if I get to collect again tomorrow!

Taking my nephew out for lunch and a movie. Was great spending time with him :)

Watching my daughter have fun with her friends at Main Event even though I'm dying inside. Being able to put my needs aside for someone else.

Went on a date and had Ethiopian food and went to the Movies to see Lucy (don't recommend it). Now, laying in bed with my PJs on eating crack aka: chocolate malted crunch ice cream from Thrifties getting ready to watch Drag Race reruns. Joy!!
