i have been on jeep.com most of the past couple hours *since i cant sleep
On and off going in between the MOAB and the Freedom Edition Wrangler. My year and color is 2013, but i really like the freedom model in blue. its nearly time to order so i'm smiling. my first trip will be up north, home sweet home :) |

What made me smile...
In the middle of staff meeting... about 20 or so of us in there... the secretary busts through the door and announces to all of us: "I'm awesome and all of you need to acknoledge that at this time!" We all gave her a standing ovation... with a few woop woops and some atta girls. She left. We sat and continued our meeting. Moments later she busts through the door and says: "Do you not want to know why I am so damn awesome?" Which obviously promps a good 20 Whys and several Tell us, and other odd little remarks like that.... "I managed to make sure you really do get your paychecks tomorrow." Of course that deserved another standing O!! :D |

Awww I'm smiling bc its date night for us and she's decided to stay in and cook a little something something and watch a movie all snuggled up and that translates to watching all of the first 5 minutes and ...........

My second grade teacher, Jackie, when i called....been so busy..
Miss Jackie: Hi, Hi, Hi....I've been thinking about you...i almost stopped by today to come and see you... Me: Well, no worries, i wasn't there. Miss Jackie: You have been on my mind. Me: Me too, you have been on my mind. I have been busy and never really had the proper time allotted to call you. I figured after Thanksgiving you must have been exhausted. Cause i was. Miss Jackie: Yes, yes i was. Me: And now comes Christmas... Miss Jackie: Yes, yes. Me: So, i figured that i would come see you after Christmas. It will give me something to look forward to. Jackie: Oh, yes, me too. Me too ****. Thank you **** Me: Aw, i am excited. Great way to start the new year. and a lot more conversation Jackie: you have a lot to tell me don't you.. Me wondering how did she know? Cause She is Miss Jackie. Maybe i will share with her like i did a bit as a kid. |
My honey bear was able to fix the washing machine without any trouble today! And though he INITIALLY started out duct tape in hand,,,,, he eventually did realize what the job really called for and did it so that it is DONE and done sooo good I don't think we will be having issues with it ever again. :)

I got the most wonderful surprise in the mail today!! A print of a picture I have wanted for so very long and did not ever think would happen!!! I am blown away by the absolute kindness of the sender!! This was so very needed ... Thank You!!!!!! ((((((hugs)))))) |

Who needs Santa?
My 10 year old coming home with a holiday card she made for me at school. Inside she had written;
5 reasons why I love you 1. I love you because you appreciate me. 2. I love you because you understand me. 3. I love you because you help me even when you are tired. 4. Today I got new eyelashes and they made me so happy.
My brother who is a gorgeous model and dancer actually has to pluck his eyelashes because everyone thinks he wears makeup. I on the other hand always have to wear eyeliner otherwise my eyes disappear. I now have these amazing beautiful full long curled lashes and they make my eyes sparkle and my face smile. |
My experience made me outright laugh today.
For a little background let me say that I am auditing charts at an outpatient drug and alcohol counseling agency. Therefore, I check all the counselors charts to be sure the i's are dotted and t's are crossed in order to close cases and for when the state comes in to check records. Two days ago the one counselor said, "God help you when you get to mine." She chuckled and I thought how bad could it be? To say the least I got to them today. I open the first chart...papers scattered in no particular order and not even attached to the folder. So I begin to first put them all facing the same direction and then left side of chart separated from right...then each section on each side...I punch holes in all papers and put into the chart and begin the audit form. Come to find out this particular counselor has ADHD and although the files are messy, there truly is not much missing from each one!! Instead I find there is more duplicated paperwork than missing paperwork. Haahaa!! It made me smile because it reminded me of someone who has very bad organizational skills and the place is a mess but they can tell you exactly where something is when asked!! I was like wow...I have a newfound respect for this woman. Despite her unorganized method of keeping charts, she has overcome her challenges to be successful at her work. |

More Christmas cards...and one with very pretty origami.... :) Getting my car fixed...she's no longer careening...but that's what I decided to name her! Careen...sounds Irish ;) Visiting with a very nice lab while my alignment was getting done... Going shopping tomorrow for last minute things... Having my favorite cereal for breakfast... I'm a truly blessed girl.... :moonstars: |
